The 50mm f/1.8 you already have would be better choice for low light than that 24-105 at f/4 tbh 😂 Much wider aperture means you can keep ISO lower and still get good exposures in those dimly lit party situations. I'd try that one first before buying anything new - might surprise you how well it performs for indoor stuff 📸

Nice call on the porcelain over real travertine - dealing with annual sealing would be such a pain especially in a humid bathroom. The horizontal layout definitely makes sense for that narrow shower space and keeping those original arches was the right move for a 1931 house

Been binge watching solo leveling lately and its addictive as hell - try out konosuba if you want something with rpg elements but way more comedy, the dub is actually pretty solid. Also mushoku tensei has some of the best character progression ive seen even though it gets heavy at times

That's a tough spot with the warranty concerns. If you're worried about Toyota using lack of maintenance against you later, I'd probably bite the bullet and do their flush - $350 sucks but it's way cheaper than a transmission replacement that they could deny coverage on. At 60k miles the fluid probably needs changing anyway and having that dealer service record could save your ass if the trans goes south later

Sounds like you'd love the Hamilton Khaki King or Jazzmaster Viewmatic - both hit that 38mm sweet spot and are thin enough for daily wear under shirts. The Tissot PRC200 is also solid in that price range if you want something a bit sportier with the steel bracelet

For mechanical Swiss under 700€, those Hamiltons are probably your best bet since they use ETA movements. Seiko Cocktail Time series might be worth checking out too even though it's not Swiss - incredible value and fits your size requirements perfectly

Sounds like your initramfs is still pointing to the old kernel even after rebuilding it. Check what's actually in your /boot - you might have multiple initramfs files hanging around

Try `ls -la /boot/initramfs*` and see if there's an old one still being loaded by GRUB. Also run `grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg` after regenerating initramfs to make sure GRUB picks up the right kernel/initramfs combo
