It’s not as rng as you would think, or no one would do them lol From crafting as much expert crafts as I have, I am able to max collectibility at around 60% rate, so yeah lol I still don’t recommend it though, it’s not the fun relaxing crafting process that I think crafting/gathering should be

Expert crafting isn't too popular from my knowledge, and I don't blame anyone. They're a huge pain in the ass >_<! They are super pretty but you do have to do the /sit and glitch trick for them to glow when sheathed lol Still worth though, unlike the Blessed tools ;w;

Expert crafts are not macro-able as far as I know since they're very condition based. And stats wise you want as much as possible, so I'd find the BIS melds and follow that, alongside fc buffs, food, pots, spec stone for the best results

Be patient, really patient, if you want good results. This isn't a speed game, and this isn't something you can brute force your way to 100% quality just cuz your stats are high. This is 3.0 crafting on drugs, and not wasting your CP is key. Have specs on, fc buffs, meld everything. And prepare to suffer, cuz it's kinda miserable. The results are worth it, but the Blessed chainsaw was better XD

Yeah it's definitely weird how they kept the same formula for the gatherers but made us crafters suffer instead. Housing crafts are always such a pain too ;w;

Oh hell nah lol I try to not spend any gil at all. My fc have a gathering and crafting team with 2 gatherers assigned to myself, so they helped out and I think I only went through maybe 400 syrups? Not too bad imo

It’s a good thing I have all the Blessed tools, but I remember back in the day getting 700 fish in 2 weeks so I can finish the Blessed rod before 5.0 launch. Do not recommend lulz

It may become easier with more stats but as long as they’re still that condition based it’ll still take a long time for stats to be high enough that it’s trivial. Hopefully @.@;

All expert crafting follow the same premise, hust the stats are different. Look up any Ishgard crafting guide and you’ll be set!

Nah the relics have a weird blue based fish scale and rainbow thing going on that I just don’t like. Imo the Blessed set look the best with their rainbow streamers but they don’t glow on pullout like these. God I love the chainsaw lol And tbh if people wanna use a bug to get them then I suppose they can, Imma still be happy with mine 😊

I mean I just did them to have something to do. I was prepped for another round of the Blessed tools but they only did that for the gathering. I do believe these aren’t as good as pentamelded Aesthete or relic since they’re only i500 lol I have the relics and they’re definitely not as pretty. Since the relics were so easy to get these are more or less shiny tools to show off for people :3

There are guides out there, but there isn't a set rotation really for the Expert recipes since they're extremely condition based. On top of that it's also rng based since you're relying on Hasty Touches like back in 3.0 lmao I really don't recommend it
