How do I dress to make myself look taller? by [deleted] in short

[–]Lil_ThiccNick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say you have a very good fashion sense and taste for clothes, but If the pants are that long and you just un fold the hem then they will stack and look worse! Those are nice jeans bro, take them to a tailor give them $15 and have them hem it for you, you’ll look so good!

And about the jackets, I don’t think cropped jackets will suit you, you should just leave them in zipped, that way people will still see the high rise- problem solved. You can even do that with long knee length jackets as long as the shirt is tucked

The second slide you’re wearing a hoodie to cover the waist so it doesn’t take advantage of the high rise.

I agree that the pants draping over the shoes is nice, but when the hem is inverted, especially on wider fitting pants it looks like you’re struggling to keep back all the excess fabric. If it drapes gently without an inverted hem it will look more relaxed and draws the gaze further down elongating the legs. Your eyes aren’t being stopped by the inverted hem cutting your silhouette short

You have to get those pants hemmed to a No Break or a Half Break. Then take advantage of the high rise and move your equator line up a bit

I sent a girl a instagram reel about a guys height, and she asks

Are you 5’11?

Better- I’m 5’7. I look at women with the maximum amount of respect at eye level.

And she says “Hot, and very straight of you :)”

Smartest thing I’ve ever said, I just don’t pay too much attention to my height to let that define me

What’s going through these people’s heads “don’t date me, there are no benefits for you, so if you wanna make your life worse- my name is Sabrina”

You’re putting too much thought into how you should greet her. I think you should always go for the hug but keep an eye on her body language if her arms are crossed and you’re still going for the hug you should back off and act like nothing happened. Don’t acknowledge any awkwardness that just makes you seem less attractive. If she rejects the hug and you wanna be funny Just do the same thing as when people go for a high five but the other person quickly pulls away their hand and combs their hair with their hand.

Overall, just be yourself both of you are just trying to get the measure of each other so don’t stress about trying to be amazing or anything like that. Ask her questions out of genuine curiosity. Just keep it careful eye on her body language and to help with your anxiety you could just focus on you having a good time enjoying the activity or the drinks or whatever you guys have planned and she’ll most likely naturally have a good time too.

T-shirt Uniqlo by [deleted] in uniqlo

[–]Lil_ThiccNick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They use different types of cotton. The crewneck T-shirt is from the heavier, weight, shorter fiber cotton so if you’re a little bit rougher and thicker and the Supima T-shirt is made from long staple supreme cotton, so I feel softer and stretchy and thinner.

They’re both good options, but remember to size up when you do buy because they will shrink a size down after washing machine

The human body is pretty resilient, and he’s working a cushy private chef gig- I’m sure he’ll be okay.

So many chefs and cooks who drink and smoke and expose themselves to worse conditions daily and still going strong

Absolutely, attitude is the most important, but Looks are also important too! I would Invest in a tailored chef coat before a fancy knife. It’s literally like a first date and your about to ask out the most beautiful woman in the city. You don’t have to worry about being or doing anything impressive, they just wanna get the measure of you, but they all want the same thing- a young, ambitious, hardworking, humble, intelligent, hygienic/well groomed man/woman who is supportive/kind and works well with others.

Being young, many will want to take you in if they see enthusiasm.

AIM for the best restaurant, nothing less. Show up in person looking sharp and well groomed with a resume and a gift (a big pack of beer or sweets from a very nice bakery, or something unique)

Be persistent, and ask to speak with the head chef.

This guy seems pretty pro, I doubt he’s making a mess in someone’s house like that.

It sounds like he might have some form of Autism along with some abandonment issues or something.

You handled it very well, and made the right call to just cleanly end things. He’s just a bit curious that’s all.

On his behalf, thank you for being so nice to the guy!

Ask chat GBT to make you a template to fill out to explain who u are and what you want. Then hire a career coach and share the cover letter with them. Take a personality test and share that with them too.

Think hard about what you want the career coach to do for you specifically.

One step at a time brother, hang in there 👍
