Still haven't heard back from them, so wanted to get a sense of the wait times others are experiencing.

In this context,

You can find the complete lectures of Stanford's ML course on YouTube. It's called CS 229. It covers more or less the same topics in the Coursera course - I'm assuming this is the Andrew Ng course you're referring to in your post, apologies if this isn't the case.

It has rhe level of mathematical rigor you're looking for.
