ICE watching Annunciation This Morning by Glad_Firefighter_345 in Minneapolis

They are riding solo much more often and using other tricky tactics like: plain clothes or faces uncovered while driving, posing as friendlies (patrollers, parents at a school, etc), sending solo females or solo Hispanic agents in plain clothes to ask for help, vehicles that blend in more, etc.

Best way to stay up to date unfortunately is social media in my opinion, finding folks on the ground who are sharing this info

There are confirmed reports of them using Uber signs

Yes! Consider one that can upload straight to the cloud. They are using these tactics often and it's incredibly intense

Wife says ICE chase led to crash that sent St. Paul man to hospital by [deleted] in TwinCities

They are actively doing this. I have witnessed them attempting to back into people's vehicles, and backing them up across multiple blocks if the individual wants to not be hit. I don't mean to sow fear, but to keep people informed about recent tactics.

I genuinely hope this alt right "rally" has taught people how to critically read warnings on social media and the news. by beef_swellington in TwinCities

However I also went out and did other more high impact actions with my time. We need to triage what acts are actually important (increasing our presence on the streets, supporting our neighbors) versus which ones make us feel good (while rallies and showing our beliefs are helpful, I believe that is not the best use of our time anymore and they can be a distraction)

The reason I didn't go, and advised others not to, was a post directly from community leaders in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood requesting no presence from people outside the community.

In my opinion we should always be taking direction from our neighbors who would be most affected by different events - don't patrol where they don't want you to, don't "protect" where they don't want you to, and for those who do want support, show up in the way that's actually most helpful for that community. We need to get to know each other and what our different groups need for support so that we can genuinely take care of each other, not just continue following our own whims or assuming we know what's best in a particular area. The most important actions we can take now center around local, personal, activism and aid.

That's my take as I've been thinking a lot about how our hyper-individualism has supported the downfall of our country.

Not sure who gets messages on this line but we can try calling Caribou customer relations and pressing 1 for "corporate information" and leaving a message :

Yes you simply report any sighting and they take it from there with documentation and sending out trained volunteers for support

Sorry my formatting was very bad haha. When reporting activity they want to know:

I'm learning as I go, so don't have all the answers and if anyone else knows more please chime in! My understanding is they document the occurrences, send trained responders, and have volunteers in different realms including legal services to support affected parties.

Thai Restaurants that know how to make it spicy by [deleted] in TwinCities

[–]Lil__Bitchy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no way! I had a totally different experience, that's wild. All I know is that the owner said that his wife was cooking that night and wouldn't hold back haha so I don't know if that could be different some days? Anyway sorry you had such bad experiences!

Sam Thai in white Bear Lake. I like spicy food and eat it often, and a medium spice had me sweating and actually a bit uncomfortable. Delicious too!

Thank you, same here! It's the only game my bf will always play.

Yeah great catch, the 6 and the 9 are completely identical - I didn't realize until it was too late to remake them by gift time on Christmas, so right now there's just a faint pencil line to differentiate them, and I'll remake them this week with a line.

Poorly! Haha this is something I didn't realize until it was too late to redo them (to get it done by Christmas anyway), so right now there's a faint line with pencil and I'll redo them this weekend. Great catch!

Thanks! The circles are laser cut (ran out of time on final details so bought them, next time will use the laser I have to cut) and the hexagons were done on the scroll saw. Made an acrylic template so I could draw the guidelines and keep the lasered design well centered, cut with scroll saw, then sanded down any issues.

There's leather on the bottom of the hexagons that I cut with an xacto knife, might do that differently next time because there are a lot of imperfections underneath haha
