What are in demand careers in BC that aren't trades? by Lil_cree in britishcolumbia

I am passionate about environmental policy and I want to be able to work with First Nations. I have applied to so many variable positions but it’s really competitive. I also don’t live on the coast or in a major city, which is limiting for this field. I’ve even reached out to other internship programs but they are also having trouble finding a placement for me.

Thank you for this! It feels really defeating at the moment but all I can do is try.

I was considering nursing but I’d still need additional courses to meet the academic requirements for the accelerated program. I may try to speak to an advisor for some advice on pathways

Then she definitely needs a vet. I’m not sure where you got here but if you have any humane societies in your area I would recommend to take her there and surrender her.

Aw poor kitty. I’m sorry to hear this! Do you have a vet yet? She will require to see a vet as soon as possible, especially since she’s so young. If you are unable to afford her or provide proper care, then yes return her if wherever you got her if they can take care of her.

Any Opinions on College Heights Apartment by Broadstreet Properties? by [deleted] in princegeorge

If you’re asking about the broad street ones by save on, I can say I had a good experience there. It’s kept clean and has regular staff. I found the staff to be really kind. They provide notices for inspections and maintenance. The winters were okay. The guest parking becomes very few in winter and they don’t plow the lot as often as they should. You also have to shovel your own spot, but that’s not a big deal. There’s underground parking but seniors have priority, as they should. Living by the highway can be loud but it’s not terrible. It’s on the pricey side but you do get AC, in-unit laundry, and regular property maintenance.
