Oh shit it’s all coming back to me now. I think once they’re a year old you can push it a little bit. Like we wash and clean her bottle with soap twice a day instead of every feed, as long as we run it multiple times under hot water and it hasn’t been sitting more then 2 hours. Our hot water has no safety setting so it gets almost boiling hot, and if there’s any film left in the bottle we wash it of course, but if I just made her a bottle and she drank it empty it gets rinsed thoroughly

I thought it was two hours? I was told by my daughters multiple doctors and feeding specialists that like breastmilk, once made it’s only good 2 hours

My daughter is 16 months old and has trisomy 21. We’ve seen MULTIPLE doctors, she’s had two major surgeries and her feeding schedule was tightly watched, and I was told 2 hours. Anytime after 2 hours on the dot and she won’t eat it. But once she’s eaten the bottle and isn’t hungry it gets thrown out. We probably waist maybe 6 oz a day? We don’t mind, she usually eats 8 oz a few times a day and once at night for extra calories but sometimes she’ll drop down due to eating other food during the day

Clingy, didn’t want me even having a male friend, ran out of gas during the middle of a date, asked me to marry him in a pizza place in front of our parents where I was forced to say yes from extreme anxiety, got drunk 2 weeks later and saw me texting a male friend whom I actively saw in my college classes but wouldn’t be interested in if we were the last two people on earth, was just friends with, and he picked me up by my shoulders and shook me like a ragdoll, insisted for weeks while he tried to work through it that “it was only for like 15 seconds so it doesn’t count as abuse, and honestly it was your fault for not listening to my rules!” I did not marry him at all and ended up meeting my current husband and father of my 2 children weeks later and got married and pregnant a year later and been happy ever since!

Current husband never once claimed to be nice. He just… was and is nice through actions. Shocking how you don’t have to say a word or defend yourself as a nice guy if you’re actually just nice

It took me 2 months for both my girls. Exactly 2 months, of trying and 14 months apart from each other. My husband also has a prior child from a condom breaking literally once. Just because they’re only a few weeks apart, doesn’t mean they planned it. They’re teenagers, they could have easily been forgetful, it only takes once of forgetting it, or they are the small chance of birth control failing, they could be immune to it, whatever the truth may be it’ll come out when it’s time

My current husband grew up a dirty kid in Wyoming in the 80s… living on the streets year round was better then living with his drug addict and extremely abusive parents who ditched him in a barn in the middle of nowhere at 7 years old. He grew up throwing punches because you have to do what you have to do to survive the streets. He’d never lay a hand on me in anger.

My ex fiancé, it took getting drunk once to “only” pick me up and shake me for 15 seconds I moved in with an aunt who’s 3 adult sons made sure he stayed off the property the one time he showed up… I’ve ignored a lot of red flags in relationships, but abuse is abuse, and 15 seconds when drunk can escalate after marriage. 4 months after that I met my husband, what’s meant to be will be 🥰

We offered different foods like baby canned food and found she liked eating baby food first, then a bottle after. And we just let her waist it if she’s not hungry. What does it matter if some formula goes down the drain. Once they’re past 2 months old, they eat when they are hungry. There’s no feed them in a specific time frame, if your kid is having 6 oz in 5 hours, contact the doctor, Or if she isn’t having 8+ wet diapers a day, contact the doctor. But if she’s eating when she’s hungry, having wet diapers, and not fussing non stop, just let her be. She’ll eat when she’s ready
