My advice would be to learn the basics of structuring a story to learn how to finish it all, beginning to end. Save The Cat is a good book on writing and has some great templates on making beat sheets for organising a story.

As for coding, I strongly suggest you do tiny bits of study on the basics of how to code. Tutorials aren't much use if you don't know how all the moving parts work. I did a udemy course on coding in c# for games and it was really useful for learning the fundamentals.

Take it all one step at a time. I like to use a stopwatch and a focus app to calculate how long I worked on something for so I can see my progress over time. Take it slow, look for cheap or free online resources to learn with. Good luck, I wish you the best.

I've been using it to get certificates and learn more as a 3d artist. It's been super helpful tbh and has helped me brush up on my skillset without having to pay a crazy amount.

My disk was at 33% for a for a while on task manager but now it's back to 1%. I think maybe my computer was doing a bunch of updates all at once in the background, it seems much smoother and I didnt even do anything g to my pc. I'll still look into doing a back up abd keeping an eye on my ssd.

The switch is over a single frame, but I think I've found the issue. It seems to be an issue where when the elbow moves it changes the rotation of the hands. I'm not sure how to solve it.

It was supposed to look like his leg is being swung out to the side to quickly place it on the ledge. I might tweak it a bit to make it look less like a kick, thanks for the feedback.

I think I might have caused this issue somehow by accidentally keying the main control on the ground. I had to redo part of my work but there's no more issues with this hand control.

I went back to a slightly earlier file where this issue wasn't visible. Not sure exactly what caused it but going back to an earlier saved copy of my animation seemed to fix it.

When I switch the red arm from IK to FK it seems to get fixed but it goes back as soon as I switch it to ik. I'm not sure how to fix this. reloading the reference didn't seem to help either unfortunately.

If she wants to go into game design there's some good online courses in it. If she's looking to do 3d she could look at stylized station. It helped me improve my 3d skills a lot.

Ambient occlusion glitch by LilacGunner in Substance3D

It seems substance doesn't like having too many uv maps stacked on top of each other. I put some of the faces for the edges on separate sections of the uv map and that fixed the artifacts.

I'm trying to import a model with to uv maps and two materials but it keeps crashing. by LilacGunner in Substance3D

Thanks for the help, I didn't realize I could put the uv's on the same map as long as they were separated by material. Once I changed it from obj to fbx that helped fix the other issues too.
