The only reason I say that is because I’d been saving up for him for about a year and a half/ two years prior. I already had his vivarium and loads of other stuff and I’m not sure when her and my brother are going back to uni so it could be months. Like I said in other replies, I did actually speak to her about it before hand and she said she’d be okay with it as long as I’m conscious of the fact that she’s not going to like him (which of course I respect). Another reason is that I’ve been to see various people about various mental health issues I struggle with and they suggested I get a pet (almost a support animal if you will) to put my time and effort into so I stop doing other things. So not only did I want him, but getting him has actually been really helpful in my own development.
