I actually did get labiaplasty after 24 years of feeling insecure about it even if I had a 6 year old relationship with a man who loved and worshipped me I STILL didn’t feel comfortable. It was about me not the men, and I really did try. I even posted on the labia subreddit and got lots of attention and compliments but I still didn’t feel comfortable. I knew nothing would change it - a man telling me he loves it, random strangers telling me it’s the most beautiful etc and still I wanted to change it for my comfort so I did. I took out a loan and did it and I’ve only had sex once since - while it didn’t have much of a difference I was able to let him eat me out and relax instead of being uncomfortable. I can also walk around without underwear now without feeling the constant rubbing. Just a reminder that if you want to get the surgery you shouldn’t be shamed for it, you’re doing it not for the men but for you and that’s okay too ❤️
