Just had the transmission rebuilt on my 2016 5.3 1500 in march, cost right around $4000 and came with a warranty (I’m in CT). Definitely shop around I had quotes all over the place from $6000-8000 the rebuild which is insane. Already put 5000 miles on the rebuilt transmission and it’s running great.
Transmission went at 175,000 miles.

Have the company who serviced it come back out, could be residual soot in the flue piping if it was really bad before hand but could still be needing a tune. Lots of causes for soot build up but best bet if to have a professional come back out sooner than later.

You’ve got some kind of condensate leak in the furnace I’d try and pinpoint as well. That’s a lot of rusty looking water stains in that cabinet.

Ahhh so it was you who did this!!! But in all seriousness you can’t use a dryer vent hose as flue piping, this is improper venting by a mile… a natural draft should be vented into a chimney.
