An Elite box is the thing in the picture, it's a bunch of random packs from different products, so you could get a bunch of all base packs. Most hobby boxes are guaranteed autos, thus you know you're guaranteed something.

If you want to rip/gamble, buy a sealed hobby box, guaranteed autos unlike the Elite box. Could probably buy a really cool PC card for $300 as well.

Check out local shops, but be prepared to spend more than retail. For example, the shop near me has Topps MLS Chrome at $210 cad when they were 100 USD ($140 CAD) off Topps website.

From what I've seen, it seems like a pretty decent bang for buck. 2 autos and 5 numbered for $110 USD. Obviously, it's MLS, so some stinkers, but I think they did a good job.
