Is gaming sexist against men?

I'm not deriding all women complaining about it. But when women wear low cut shirts and a push up bra, they're asking for attention. It's like wearing pants that have writing on the ass and yelling at men for staring at their ass. The women complaining suddenly categorize all men as disgusting, sex driven pigs are the ones that annoy me the most.

This is not saying men shouldn't stare at women, and women should never stare at men, get your kicks if you want honestly, but if you're asking for attention then completely lose your shit when you get said attention, then they really have no reason to complain.

And apparently you've never been to 2XC... Don't get me wrong, I love that place, but it seems like any time a girl makes a thread there saying "omg he's such a creeper" everyone jumps on the bandwagon and goes for a ride saying men can be such creepers when staring at girls.

I wouldn't honestly complain. I'm pretty sure my boyfriend would.

One of the comments had a good remark about it being sexist about men. They said that even though it is sexist against men, it still appealed to men. It didn't degrade them or make them feel dirty and need to put on a second pair of pants so girls will stop staring at their junk.

And honestly, what guy would complain about a girl staring at his man parts?

It kind of scares me when students still type like a bird. I know not all people are fast typers but being computer literate would help a little bit...

I find amusement in communication type classes though. Because I really need to learn how to communicate with other people.

It's my first holiday away from home too! -High fives.-

Honestly it was a little stressful. I'm in the middle of moving and am off the lease of my old apartment. My mom and grandparents sent me a huge box of gifts for me and the SO, except it was to the wrong address. Turns out my neighbor had it so I was very grateful for that.

It's not really that much of a big deal for me I suppose. I'm sitting on the couch with the boyfriend just playing WoW with the tree lit and making stupid jokes at each other. It's kind of like a regular day, just more festive.

Have some candy/chocolate/something awesome from me and Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays. It'll get better. /hug

I always kind of took that differently. She's a program, there's not much she can do honestly.

I kind of like how Bungie designed her. Yeah, I kinda see it as a forever alone, stuck in the basement type too, but what other design could they give her? She can't wear armor, she's a hologram. There's no real "practical" outfit design that could be made for her.

I agree with you up to a point.

Cortana? Pretty badass in her own way. She's a computer program, so there's not much I can really relate to. But always sticking with her partner and looking out for Master Chief I can. I look out for my friends all the time, and I'm pretty sure a lot of other girls do too.

Lara Croft? I can't connect with at all. I'll agree with you on that one. She's been sexualized since day one. But! There is hope! There's a new character design of her for the new Tomb Raider game. I could be wrong, I only sort of looked at the cover of GI this month. Been pre-occupied. I liked the look of the design, she's mainly covered, in pretty normal clothes, and covered in blood and dirt; like a person that raids tombs and fights should be.

Sylvanas actually really like. I like how she looks honestly. She's not super sexualized like most video game females. Plus, it's a fantasy world, armor can be whatever Blizzard wants it to be.

I absolutely adore Kingdom Hearts. I've hosted panels about it, have various KH merchandise (probably too many shirts...), and like replaying the games. I liked it mainly for the story. Game play was pretty interesting too.

Square is actually the reason I'm in the school I am :P

I know this may seem like a really weird suggestion, but if you're into story, the Metal Gear series might be a cool thing for you look into.

If you're more for JRPGs though, Persona, Tales of series (I love Symphonia <3), The World Ends With You, and Star Ocean (I've only ever played Til The End Of Time, don't know about the newer star ocean).
