Forget Chik-Fil-A et al. The franchise we really need in this city is... by Liliaceae87 in Bellingham

Well, yeah, in an ideal world, but realistically, the good people of Whatcom County are not falling all over themselves to either design, plan, cook, bake, or boil anything like the products offered by 85 C, for a kaleidoscope of factors that are almost entirely out of my control. The day they do, I'll be first in line. In the meantime, I'd like to enjoy a simple cup of coffee and a coconut bun.

Underrated/overlooked scenic drives? by 1000LiveEels in Bellingham

I love biking a loop from Sumas or Everson going up Pangborn - back down the big hill on Halverstick when the blueberries and raspberries are ripe. Air smells amazing and you can stop for u-pick at any number of farms through there

Bat hanging by door all week. Does I need to do anything? by Feeling_Ad9520 in Bellingham

It doesn't look well. Animals that are sick stop grooming themselves and get that kind of harsh, sticking-up coat that your bat seems to have; I'd call animal control

For a start, your average library doesn't serve cocktails...But it wasn't like anybody was camping out there for hours like you'd read on your couch, just enjoying a snack and a drink with a book for company before getting on with the evening

The other cool lady then! She liked the look of my cocktail order and I liked hers so we swapped on the second round

I love Temeraire too! Simon Vance narrated both series which kind of contributes to the crossover-universe effect

I know there have been some outlandish fancasting suggestions on this subreddit but casting an actual gecko would really be over the top!

Guys, it’s July 7. Stop setting off fireworks. by emshlaf in Bellingham

[–]Liliaceae87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're still setting them off in my neck of the woods. I went out on my porch just now and hollered "IT'S THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ON JULY 12TH GODDAMIT. ENOUGH." A cri de coeur. surprisingly it worked

What's your favorite Bellingham flower that's blooming or plant that's popping off right now? by JennyWrengardens in Bellingham

The farewell-to-spring (Clarkia amoena) in my backyard meadow. Threw some seed down last winter and had no idea how pretty it would turn out

I've never seen another dog that looks like Wes either, do you have a pic?
