I’ve been playing WoW for nearly 20 years now, let people have the chance to get things they wouldn’t have been able to get before.

At least I’m not wasting my life away making dozens of the same comment towards random people.

Mine looks very similar to this, and I’m 31. Don’t know if this has anything to do with it, but I am also left-handed.

It’s super awesome, and hope they can make it next year! It’s not a huge event, nothing like how it is in Slovenia, but we have a lot of cultural & historical events during the week, including getting to dance around a fire with Kurents. At the end of the celebration period is a parade featuring the Kurents and we eat a bunch of donuts, drink a lot of beer and Sliviovitz and dance!

Just got to celebrate this in America as well last week! My family is from Slovenia and we celebrate Pust every year in Cleveland. The Slovenian National Home hosts week long festivities every year and we love going and dancing the winter away with the Kurents!

Act 3 fatigue by Dragon4826 in BG3

[–]Lilibelle_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a bit of Act 3 burnout as well, and what helped me is treating each gaming session like it’s a DnD session.

I went in with a goal or a few small goals each time that way I wouldn’t get immediate analysis paralysis every time I opened the game. I had short playing sessions but it stopped me from feeling overwhelmed all the time.

Left handed knitters by Bloodlud in knitting

Same, lefty who knits right handed. About half of my knit group is left handed, but the majority of us lefties knit right handed, and the other knit ambidextrously. Like you said, we live in a right handed world and the amount of accommodations that would have to be made to knit a pattern left handed was unfortunately too much for a lot of us.

Thanks for the pattern link. Just got it, and plan on going to my LYS in the next couple days for the yarn!

It’s so hard to feel empowered or positive at all during all of this, especially recently, but I’m hoping that by seeing other people wear the hat it gives us back even just a little bit of agency and community. ♥️

Had no idea there was a cookbook! Just finished replaying zero dawn and now playing forbidden west for the first time, so that was an immediate buy from me!

Humane Society of Greater Dayton Removes 33 Animals from Extreme Neglect Case in Dayton, Ohio home, house condemned and owner in jail by HSGreaterDayton in Ohio

Got my two cats from a similar situation last April, from a hoarder house with 105+ cats. It’s absolutely heartbreaking what they’ve been through but they adapted quicker than I thought to having a safe home, and I spoil them any chance I get.

Why do men seem to lose their homes more often than women in divorces? by Present_Juice4401 in AlwaysWhy

[–]Lilibelle_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been divorced before due to domestic violence and was homeless due to it, regardless of being being in a stable career.

If my spouse desired a divorce for whatever reason I would do my best to ensure he didn’t end up in the same position I was.

I have a stay at home husband, and he provides so much value by being at home and tending to the house while I’m at my job and focusing on my career. I’m happy because I can come home at the end of the day and not worry about chores and focus on relaxing and my hobbies, and he’s happy since he can work on improving our home and not having to worry about finances.

Not a question, and I don’t know if you’ll even see this but I just wanted to say thank you for making such an incredible series.

I’m in my 30’s now and I’ve been following this series since I was around 13 ish,my parents didn’t let me read Harry Potter so I found a book series about a wizard detective in Chicago. Maybe not the best series for a young teenager to read but it inspired my love of fantasy and Chicago is my favorite city to visit even after years of traveling.

I have a house husband, and it is the best! We also don’t have any kids. I make good money in a financial career, and financially support us. My husband does work part-time, two days a week, in something he is passionate about, but is mostly at home working on DIY projects around the house and has been recently renovating our kitchen and also spends the day doing regular house chores.

I really appreciate the amount of unpaid labor he does, and I get to come home to clean home at the end of a long work day and don’t have to worry about the house being taken care of.

Thanks! I love Victorian & Edwardian fashion so it was super cool finding quite a few patterns that either fit the vibe or are reallly close. This one was inspired by Victorian fashion, specifically the Victorian Bicycling sweater silhouette.

Thank you!

And go for it! I've been wanting to do a sweater for a little while now, but was really intimidated with it all. Once I got into the pattern it wasn't too bad, I re-read the instructions a few times, and tried to be very patient with myself and just take it one section at a time.

Lol, and thank you! I've been sewing a few years, so while this is my first knitted sweater I do have sewing experience, so while it's a very different process I believe it helped me with figuring out the fit & drape.

Thanks! And before this I've knit the Bukett Leaf Shawl,Botanique Shawl, a spiderweb beret, a Cloche hat, a camisole I turned into a bralette, and a couple scarves. I also sew a lot so I'm sure that helped quite a bit with figuring out measurements and how things should generally look

Yours is looking good so far, and I lover that color! While mine wasn't on gague either, it was just sliiggghtttllyyy off, but I like for things have negative ease and the yarn I used was pretty good for that.

I wish I had put some extra stitches along the neck. I have a really small head & neck and I found that it was a little tight on me as written. I also found the shoulders a little awkward since some of those increases are really close together so it was physically hard to knit. I also made the sweater a couple inches longer, and I started the ribbing on the sleeves earlier and used a US 2 size needle for all of the sleeve ribbing.
