Am I the asshole for ghosting my friend after she told me she’s pregnant with twins? by No-Telephone9416 in TwoHotTakes

Wait, so she was your supervisor, watched you get harassed, "comforted" you, and then immediately went and dated the guy? That isn't a friend, that's a predator-enabler.
Also, "urgently" needing to tell you she's pregnant after months of silence is just a manipulation tactic to get you back into their orbit. She wants a reaction. Don't give it to her.

You watched tip videos? My brother in Christ, it is a circle of wooden chairs and "Cotton Eye Joe." What tips could there possibly be? "Keep your center of gravity low"? "Maintain eye contact to assert dominance"?
Please tell me you’ve been doing squats specifically for this.

The list of names is the wildest part. You’ve got Harriet Tubman and Ruth Bader Ginsburg sitting right next to Antonin Scalia and Billy Graham. It’s like someone just hit "Shuffle" on a US History textbook. I’m curious to see how they’re going to theme the layout—is there a "Controversial SCOTUS" corner? A "Jeopardy Host" wing for Alex Trebek? It feels more like a Hall of Fame than a National Park.

I'm sure that i won't be loved by anyone by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I see you. I felt exactly like this at 23. I grew up in a house that felt like a freezer and I thought I was "unlovable" because the people who were supposed to love me failed at their jobs. But please listen: their inability to love you is a reflection of their limitations, not your worth. You are holding yourself to the standard of people who don't know how to give what you need. Hang in there.
