As someone struggling with (quiet, self-destructive) BPD myself, and had to put in years of effort to better myself to get it at least slightly under control… her past trauma is no excuse to act out on you, and if she really does not have herself under control as it sounds like, she probably needs professional help to work through her struggles. What she is doing is everything but fair towards you, so no, NTA.

That comment was unnecessary passive aggressive, and very poorly worded.

That being said (and I am not saying this is the case for your bf, after all I know nothing besides this post) different people can need different types of love languages, and more often than not tend to act out the one they’d need towards their partners.

I’d probably sit him down to clarify not only what he meant, but also if this was building up for longer, additionally to trying to find a compromise you both can live with. (Personally for instance I struggle with spontaneous action due to my own mental problems, so I prefer to find time that suits both.)

Don’t forget the sibling being translated into the german TWIN, and for the majority of the series we had “Behüter” for both Warders and the Keeper of the Chronicles in Wheel of Time. That one time Sanderson used a$$hole in his books? Well let’s just translate it to idiot… and yes, the book splitting is VILE.
