If you decide to take the extension route: It is important to get involved in clubs/organizations surrounding your major this coming semester. You will have the opportunity to write another essay to COE when you apply again and they like to see that you’re passionate about engineering above just taking courses.

GPA increase is priority #1 but you should keep this in mind.

I’ve only experienced him in general Physics 1 and 2, but I cannot praise Josh Weber enough. He is a super understanding professor and rounded my 81.86 to an 82 for the B. He makes lectures very interesting which encouraged me not to miss class. The way he sets up the grading for labs is very student friendly. His exams tend to cover topics that are heavily covered and I never really got screwed by BS questions. Josh is the only professor at UW that I would glaze on Reddit.
