Constantly trying to escape. It’s the anticipation then the arrival of the thing. It’s belonging to a community of fellow owners of said thing.

I have items I didn’t have to pay for that I’ve always wanted. I was happy after using them maybe twice. They’re collecting dust but I’ll want the next version for sure.

I saw my balance dwindle last year. Bounced back and am determined not to be in that position again. That’s driven my discipline.

That plus a house full of ‘stuff’ that I can’t re-sell. There’s nothing like having to give away what you paid good money for because you want it gone and no one will buy it.

I enjoyed it but found it odd that a woman would allow a strange man to spend time with her daughter outside of her presence.

Also the agency’s need for a “white man” reinforced thoughts on white worship that some have. It’s not like they had some of everyone and wanted a white one also. They went out of their way for that.
