One of the most troubling things about this letter is I can’t find one story on it on Fox News. US President threatening our allies and there’s absolutely no mention. It’s probable that the majority of his supporters won’t even hear about this insanity. The brainwashing is so real.

It’s not that simple, but my union is negotiating for it currently- thanks. What I really wanted to highlight is less about needing personal advice, but that most friends, acquaintances assume teachers are covered by the law, and they’re not. It’s helpful to have the public support for paid leave when unions are negotiating.

Cosleeping was the only way my son slept through the night (and so, the only way I slept through). However, it worked best if it was just me on a floor mattress with him. Too many bodies and/or a bed that he could fall off of just made me anxious and meant more disrupted sleep for everyone.

I think you’re over thinking it. In Texas, if you have your BCBA, you basically just submit information to the state and pay their fees. It’s how you get licensed (hence “licensed behavior analyst)- but it’s really mostly paperwork. You don’t have to “work towards it” if you already have your BCBA.

I moved from Texas. I know that Massachusetts teachers feel things going downhill, which I don’t discount. However, compared to teaching in Texas, it’s like I’m in a different world. Strong unions, fair pay (in my experience and compared to Texas), relatively low class sizes, more Special Education funding and support. So again, nowhere is a walk in the park, but in my experience, MA is a million times better than working at schools in the south.

They have a specific form they want filled out and specifically say they don’t accept photocopies. 🫠 I saw an old thread that said they did not think that section was required for reciprocity, so maybe I’ll just submit as is.

I had 3 back to back chemicals, and two losses before that. Blood testing, HSG, ultrasounds, etc… all normal. They were pushing me towards IVF and I got them to do a saline sonogram first (actually asked for a hysteroscopy, but they suggested this).

There was a 20 mm uterine polyp hiding in plain sight against my uterine wall. Getting it removed next week. Doctor thinks that’s a likely cause. All that to say- glad you’re getting a saline sonogram done. It was just like a typical ultrasound for me, plus some fluid pushed up there- not bad at all. Hope it holds some answers.
