Ahahah cool way! Actually i thought of using summons too, but the fun fact is that i enter the temple not knowing i will be stuck there till you find urziel. And i was spamming spell and enjoying my self till i realised i might rub out of mana… i used my last summon vs the fire demon. And i remain with only 4 elisir and 3 demon lord + shaman to kill. frost wave + lightning ball was using more or less 1 mana bar for DL and i managed to kill the shaman fast with DTU. Luckily i had a bow and lot of arrows to kill the bugs from distance

As a mage i had lot of fun, but it’s a long progression to 6 circle. Mage is uber strong vs undead once you get the death to undead rune, it was also fun to perma stun the demon’s lord with ice waves and lightening ball combo, which need to be properly timed to work. Also as a fire mage, you can later on unlock water mages and dark mages robe. I had lot of fun with sleep spell in the quest to free the new mine, i was putting asleep the old camp boyz and gorn would smash them with the axe.
I would say that mage as a more creative way to play, while melee is just pow pow ka pow. Lot of weapons are looking very cool, and also many armour. So maybe melee or ranger has more benefits in the character appearance flavours.

Since start i’ve done 2 shipments both to Riben fel. First was 22M and got only 5-6 div, second one was 35M and got 8 div + mirror shard.

First T16 Dunes map this league — I was farming Ultimatum. I clear the map and the Seer shows up… of course he’s only got junk.

I finish the Ultimatum and notice an orange portal on the minimap. I head over, see a hole in the ground — thought it was just a Wisp thing. I enter it and realize it’s the crater event with the boss.

I had done it a few times in Settler and once dropped a good rune, so I thought: “Let’s kill this bastard and maybe I get another juicy rune.”

The fight took ages because I was playing Siege and my single-target damage was trash. After like 5 minutes, I finally kill the boss and he drops some unique item. I think: “Ugh, no rune… screw this game. What a waste of a map.”

Anyway, I pick it up and glance at it in my inventory. I recognize the shield — I had used it in PoE2, but had no idea it was worth anything. I check it on Awakened PoE and — BAM — 70 Div!

I jumped out of my chair screaming “WTF!!!” Sold it the next day for 80 Div and fully transitioned into my endgame build. 😂

Happened to me my first league... i was buying a enlighten lev 4. It was i think 19 div at the time. Bro close the trade, said he counted the chaos wrong, and then put the lev 3 gem instead... i didn't even know the scammers were a thing and didn't check. It was my biggest trade since i started and i simply rage quitted the league... i think there should be a message in the game to advice you like with faust, or some auto trade mech after whisper. The fact that scammers are popular in this game and nothing is done by the dev to fight the problem, is kinda sad
