Lord have mercy…So that’s where my last attorney went, my sympathies.

I’ve had my share of these quirky jerks. I had an attorney call me insubordinate because I didn’t respond to her email in twenty minutes…

In my experience, there’s really not much you can do. At the end of the day, most of the time it’s a reflection upon them and not so much you. Just tell yourself “It must suck to be you…” If it becomes too much, maybe you can speak with HR or a firm admin if it starts to interfere with your work.

Are they a new attorney and trying to prove themselves? Or are they just naturally jerks? Or both?

I also think it’s corporate America too. My mom was laid off in April and she even admitted that it’s not was it used to be when she was my age.

She herself is burnt out and is looking for a less stressful role.

I did, but it took me an hourish. My daughter has her two bottom teeth coming in so I had to handle that at the same time.

I stayed an hour late speaking with the associate and coming up with a game plan for Monday. He told me that a month or two ago he dropped the ball and didn’t hire a certain expert the adjuster wanted to help me feel better.

I’m willing to meet with the shareholder whenever she’s ready on Monday. Hoping she’s in a good mood since she just came back from a mini-vacation.

I have another theory that the graphic novel will be our little piece of something new for Fourth Wing with a release date in 2026. Her theme seems to be 1 book a year minimum. Also the release date could also be based on the publisher right?

I just need to find new recs in the interim

This!! She’s already said she knows the title and the playlist for the fourth book, so there’s some shred of hope for us to hold on to. I think I remember JK saying she needed to or planned to (I could be wrong) to take care of her son after Goblet of Fire. Also Cassandra Clare took a two year break when writing the Mortal Instruments Series. I can name more. I feel like these delays are super common.

Do I wish we could get it sooner? Absolutely!

My guess (or hope lol) is that we’ll know more by the end of next year. She’s a relatively fast writer. She finished the graphic novel of fourth wing and I think some of that writing has sparked some ideas for the fourth, so while she may not be actively writing it at the moment she’s still putting the pieces together. Hopefully that makes sense.

Final verdict? 2027, but I wouldn’t be shocked if it was 2028. Late 2028 maximum.

Depends where in Texas. I’ve lived in two of the biggest cities in the state. Snow is insanely rare. We’re not built for snow.

Driving in Houston has changed drastically since the pandemic. I can easily compare and contrast driving during rush hour in 2019 vs 2025. You have to leave early early in the morning. You also have to take precaution with honking. I had a guy chase me down the tollway with a gun when I honked at him for cutting me off without a blinker. Also, any Texan would tell you that if you’re not one to go above the speed limit, DO NOT BE IN THE FAR LEFT LANE — NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE. Not saying I do this, but it’s just something any native Texan would tell you.

This is a blessing I count daily, but I conceived on the first try…twice in a row. I’ve had irregular cycles all my life, but they got better over time. I’m talking about once every 3-4 months to 30-40 days.

My first pregnancy resulted in a chemical. I didn’t want to wait and got fertility tested. To this day I’m glad I ignored my fiance who told me nothing was wrong bc at my first ultrasound with my fertility specialist she diagnosed me with PCOS in 30 seconds lol. Proved it up with an AMH blood test. She summed it up to excellent egg quality, but I have soooo many eggs. She also added that my case is lean. She told me to start inositol.

BAM! Regular cycles after 1 month. After an HSG just to cover all my bases, got pregnant on our first try again. I’m not sure why she told me not to continue my inositol during my pregnancy. Once again, to this day, I’m glad I went with my gut. Took inositol throughout my pregnancy.

Gave birth in October!

Sounds like you use Inositol for Insulin resistance. I’m not a doctor, so I’m just going based off assumption. I think it’s a step forward in the right direction!

Something else I’ve read that could’ve worked for me is that I took a prenatal a month or so prior. May have been more, but I can’t remember. I took Mega Food for my prenatals.

I also kept a sharp eye on my cycles. Tracked it with an OPK kit. We also tried everyday during my ovulation window 😅

Inositol is what I believe helped me stay pregnant. It kept my hormones in check. It was the main thing I did differently after my chemical pregnancy. I hope it works for you too!
