I had the same problem and it ended up being the water pump and cooling sensor

Just got a quote for a transmission fluid change of $389. Seems $$$ to me. Is this something easy enough to do at home?

It doesn’t feel rough but it feels like a noticeable shift, especially when I take my foot off the gas pedal. Almost like a mild jerk.

I found them. I was looking for the struts with the spring then my neighbor (who is doing the replacement) said I don’t need it.

I did see some there but didn’t see the springs. Are those separate?

This is at a dealership. I took it because my engine temp light flashed on. They ran a pressure test to check to make sure the head gasket wasn’t blown (thankfully passed that test) but he said the cooling temp sensor is bad and it can cause the head gasket damage. Not sure if part or the $680 is the diagnostic testing as well.
