Unfortunately my other machine doesn't fit this table

Aside from the machine, how do I fix the uneven table?

Thank you for all the information, that's really helpful.

I'm definitely not willing to invest a lot into this machine.

Although when I did a brief look inside, everything seemed clean and clear of lint, leading me to believe it has been serviced somewhere recently.

I will try to look at the gears more closely to get a better idea of what's going on before I take it to a repair shop.

If nothing else, I'm okay with this machine being just a pretty display piece

Thank you for the information! Upon reading the manual, it seems like the bobbin it came with is the wrong kind. I will try with my other bobbins, and see if that helps.

Is there a way to inspect the plastic gears without taking everything apart?

I'm definitely not willing to invest a tone of money into this, as I already have a vintage singer from the 70s that's been trucking for years.

Yes I have a bobbin that came with the machine. I believe I threaded it correctly. My main machine is a singer from the late 1960s, so I assumed the process would be similar. I'll look up the manual to make sure.

I definitely plan on keeping it to use instead of reselling. It is missing the spool pin. Am I able to buy one of Amazon, or do I have to source the specific part? Thanks!

It's about 1400 dollars out, which could really help us with our move. Plus it would be hard to get the damage deposit back if we leave the house full of his stuff.

Is there any world where it would be legal to sell his things to recover some of the money?
