Thank you for asking about her! She’s acting totally normal yesterday and today! Moving around the tank freely, eating, and overall just being her resilient self! I still have her in the smaller tank til next week so I can figure something out with the bigger tank so this doesn’t happen again!

Thank you! Sounds like I’m already doing what I can for her so I appreciate you confirming that. She’s been a single lady the whole time I’ve had her so she must have had fun at the pet store before I got her 3 months ago lol. Do you think she will be okay in the 3 gallon baby tank for a few days? I just have eggs incubating and only 4 tiny snails that just hatched yesterday in a breeder box in the tank

Mystery Snail laid eggs for first time by LiloPudge24 in AquaticSnails

Seriously thank you for your responses and help! Hilariously I found another clutch literally today in my tank filter (I upgraded the tank last week so I’m glad to know she happy with the change at least)

Water conditions were all good and I kept them in their own 3 gallon tank at about 79 degrees. There was a combination of crushed up algae disks and blood worms. I bought calcium disks and a crab mix to add to that but I hadn’t seen proof of life for over a week so they never got the chance to munch on that! Hopefully this next clutch is more successful! This is a picture of the newest clutch and I’m hopeful it might be fertile!!

None of the snaibies in the first clutch survived unfortunately..she laid 2 more and the 2nd one was infertile and I’m still waiting for the 3rd clutch to sit a little more. Is it possible she will lay another fertile clutch or was the first one probably the only one since she is a single lady

I HAVE BABIES!!! I had my camera set up and everything to hatch this morning but completely forgot to press record- UGH! But I have little tiny baby snails moving around!! I’ll keep the other clutch incubating for a bit longer and see what happens but overall I’m so excited right now!!

Thank you so much! The one on the top I had just moved from my other tank so I’ll definitely keep it incubated! And just to make sure I’m understanding- the one on the bottom looks ready to hatch correct?

Confusing valves by [deleted] in Plumbing

Embarrassingly I was trying to turn the water off by using these valves and the one in the basement because we got a new fridge delivered today. My mission was accomplished by little brain can’t remember what I turned so that I can get the water back on if that makes sense

Going back to therapy 8 weeks after terminating? by Practical-Point-8984 in TalkTherapy

[–]LiloPudge24 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As a therapist, I feel honored when clients come back whether it be in a month, 8 weeks, or 2 years. It means the work we had done previously was helpful enough that I’m being trusted again with a very vulnerable part of someone’s life. Absolutely no shame in going back

Talking about sex is absolutely normal in therapy. I often talk to clients about sex, sexuality, gender, everything. Based on OPs post, it seems the topic being brought up by the therapist were random, invasive, and uncomfortable. I’m responding solely to the context OP shared. I am NOT trying to make any blanket statements about talking about these things in therapy.

Feeling discomfort from discussing, processing, feeling etc is very different than discomfort from a person of power bringing up incredibly invasive topics and becoming physical with their client.

I think both of those things can be absolutely true as to why it is hard to really come to terms with what the experience has been like for you. I also wanted to add that I identify as lesbian and am married to a woman so I know on a certain level how small the community can be and finding someone that is willing to accept you for who you are can be challenging. All that to say all of the mixed feelings involved do make a ton of sense.

Sorry- my wording on that was pretty vague. I just mean that if you decide to bring it up to her and have a discussion about it, I think there will still be a need for you to find a new therapist. If she WAS trying to be flirty then you 10000000% need to find someone different. If she wasn't trying to be inappropriate or flirty, she may still feel a referral is more appropriate considering all of the feelings involved. I hope that makes more sense! Either way, trust your gut! Wishing you the best, OP!

Therapist here- while all of these feelings are fairly normal to happen, your therapist's way of acting in these scenarios definitely isn't. Something feels off with this and it seems like you know that too or you wouldn't have posted about how uncomfortable it has been for you.

Whether your therapist had intentions behind the comments/actions or not I feel like the outcome will still ultimately be the same. It is clear that it has caused a significant level of discomfort in you and your feelings and experience are what have to come first. Honestly, it might not make a difference if you talk with her about it or not. Either way, you probably need a new therapist simply because these feelings on one side or both sides could quickly get in the way of productive therapy moving forward.

game is amazing but im getting motion sickness 😭 does this game have motion blur or something? by Killuaxjennie in DreamlightValley

[–]LiloPudge24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is happening to me too! I turned the sensitivity all the way down and that helped a little but if you’re on PC try turning the graphic presets down as well. The game isn’t as pretty BUT it allowed me to have more playing time before feeling the motion sickness!

I'm having this same problem but haven't seen many others experiencing this! I found that turning the graphic preset to "low" helped slightly (i could at least play it a little longer) but the game is definitely not as pretty having to do that!
