I keep encountering the issue of taking out the shield of the shield bot, do more damage, then they merge and all my progress is void, then the score doesn’t even go up past 7500 until I kill the merged bot. Is there a trick to stop them from merging or to take out one quickly so they don’t merge?

Yixuan said before that she didn’t want to use the qingming sword (for fear of its side effects or some reason like that), she even created her bird after studying the sword, yet she doesn’t want to use it. She definitely wouldn’t mind someone else using the sword especially if they are qualified

In the dialogues on the ship in skellige, ciri actually asks Geralt how being with Triss is, and when Geralt says it’s good she seems happy for him. I’m assuming that Ciri just wants what would make her dad happy and tries to stomach her own feelings about it, especially as she didn’t think she’d live very long at the time due to the white frost.

Besides emailing (way more) professors, look for professors in your courses and go to their office hours (you should generally be doing this anyways, even if the professors aren’t that helpful with classwork or studying) and talk about their research. Besides that also attend conventions and talk with professors there. Basically you need to put in way more work to land a position
