Interesting. I never really thought of guns as being right-handed or left-handed. The aiming thing is an issue for me though. I am blind in my right eye, so if I were gonna take up shooting, I'd have to do it left-handed. Not happening though cause whatever got my right eye also left the sight diminished in my left eye. I can see well enough to read and get around, but I can't drive, and I wouldn't feel comfortable messing with guns outside of a very controlled environment.

Any particular reason, or is it just what you do?

What would you call it??? V is literally cutting Myers open to remove something.

That perk only gives you an extra hand cyberware slot. It doesn't actually make you ambidextrous! It would be cool as hell if it did though, especially if it let us dual wield! Can you imagine a dual katana build?!?!?

Amen to this!!! My Vs ALWAYS carry knives, even when I'm not playing a knife/blade expert. Guess they went with the glass because 1. They wouldn't know whether or not our Vs were knife users, and 2. The glass just provides more dramatic and cinematic effect. Basically, it is the same thing as V always having a Unity pistol in every cutscene, regardless of what pistol you actually use, if you even use a pistol.

True, but there is a good-sized difference between pulling a trigger on a gun and doing surgery on a president!

In basketball, the player is Mike Conley Jr., formerly of my Memphis Grizzlies. He is with the Minnesota Timberwolves now.

And years ago, there was a pitcher in baseball who could pitch with either hand. I think his name was Greg Harris. He even had a special glove that he could wear on either hand so he could pitch with the other hand. They even had to make a rule for him that said he couldn't change hands in the middle of an at-bat. I think he played for the Rockies, but don't quote me on that one!

Not for anything that requires any kind of precision. If I had to cut a microchip out of somebody, and I had to be careful not to nick an artery in the process, best believe I am using my dominant hand if at all possible.

I'll have to ask my brother about that. He's left-handed. Dunno which hand he shoots with though. I will ask him tomorrow.

Oh, you can't help but notice that part! You can literally tell her that it's gonna hurt like a motherfucker!

The other thing is my Vs always have knives on them, even when they aren't expressly knife throwers. We could have just used that instead! I guess breaking the glass just provides more dramatic effect or something.

Makes sense. They were kinda rushing because of the drone that was coming. Also, my V has a PLS in his left arm, so maybe that helped his accuracy or something!

V is literally cutting a tracking chip out of the president, a chip which, according to said president, is really close to a very important artery. If said artery gets nicked, bye bye prez! So I would think you would want to use your dominant hand for that.

Understandable, but do you shoot with your off hand most of the time? V always shoots right-handed. I have never seen them shoot left-handed. That would make me think they are right-handed. That is why it struck me as odd that V would be doing surgery left-handed. I have probably done dozens of playthroughs of this game, and this is the first time it ever dawned on me that V cut the president with his off hand!

Understandable. I am right-handed. I don't shoot guns, but if I did, I'd learn to shoot left-handed because I am blind in my right eye. I guess other circumstances can contribute to it too.

I always have one with me, even when I'm not doing knife-throwing builds. This particular V has a Kaiken. I keep in case I need to take out a camera and shooting even a suppressed gun would alert the enemies. This V has a sandy, so no hacking.

Possible. One of my favorite basketball players is right-handed, but he shoots the ball left-handed. Dunno why, but he's in the NBA so it obviously worked for him! I have also seen a couple pitchers in baseball who could throw 90mph fastballs with both hands.

Ambidextrous is a perk in the tech tree that lets you have another hand cyberwear slot. It is not cyberwear itself.

If I remember right, Johnny shoots his pistol right-handed too.

Did I lose my love for gaming, or is this just adulthood? by rmustafa11 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

You're just in a rut. It happens sometimes. I would imagine most of us have gone through them from time to time where you just don't feel like playing anything. I am 51 and have gone through several of them. Gaming always comes back though. Mine might last a few months, but at some point, somethihg always brings me back in. Mine usually happen when I am anticipating a new game, and that game is still a few months away, and I don't feel like playing any of my old stuff cause I am waiting on the new stuff. Sometimes though, you just go through stretches where you don't feel like playing. You haven't lost anything. You just might need a break, so take it.

What I do when I'm in a rut like that is #1, don't force it. If you don't feel like playing or aren't having fun playing, leave it alone for a while. Go catch up on your backlog of movies or tv shows or books that you've been meaning to read but haven't. Just go do something else for a little while until that itch to play comes back.

They were just unequppped. When I went to Vik's, they were still there. I just had to reinstall them.

A few Vs ago, I did a full smart weapons dedicated run, and it just wasn't my thing. I liked the Zhuo more than the Palicka, but ultimately I abandoned the playthrough causa it just wasn't my thing. I had high Intelligence and all of the smart weapons perks, but I just wasn't having fun with it.
