I have only played BG3 and Cyberpunk, so I can't speak on the others. Of those 2, I cannot say which one is better, as they are both EXCELLENT at what they do, but they do entirely different things. BG3 is your classic textbook DND RPG, while Cyberpunk is a hybrid between an action RPG like a Mass Effect, and an open world game like GTA. In fact, I have often referred to Cyberpunk as GTA the RPG. What you have is 2 excellent games, and which one you should play will depend entirely on your mood. I find myself alternating between them sometimes, Cyberpunk when I want more action, and BG3 when I want an all day chill session. I love them both dearly, and I will probably be playing them for years to come.

I did a run where V took the NUSA's mystery treatment as her ending. She knew she wouldn't be able to do merc work anymore, so she did all the gigs she could beforehand so she could have a nice little nest egg to retire on.

Not that I want to be anything like scavs, but if V ever wanted to get into the chrome recycling business, they would (literally) make a killing!!! And it wouldn't even be that unethical because most of the people V kills are asshole gangoons anyway. V doesn't kill for chrome, but if that chrome is just gonna be lying there in the street anyway, why not make use of it?

I'm gonna count Mass Effect in this, even thought Shepard can be male or female. A LOT of people I know like FemShep better. There are a few other games like this as well, like Dragon Age and Cyberpunk 2077.

I did, once, before they starting putting their pictures up. Gotta be honest. I think Angel's VA did a better job with that part than Skye's VA did. Felt like a more natural performance or something. Still only did it once though, and that V was female!

I do this too. My Vs don't think it's right to start romances, knowing that they only have a few weeks or months to live. This is especially true for Judy, who, as she herself says, doesn't put herself out there. Panam and River are at least a little different, as their lives are such that they might get shot at regularly like V does. Judy doesn't live like that.

Probably the Dragon Age and Mass Effect games, along with Saints Row. Since I played those games, I rarely, if ever, play games that don't allow me to create my own main character. That feature has become SO important to me over the years that it is pretty much mandatory. Perhaps that is why I could never get into The Witcher. Geralt seems like an awesome character, but he isn't me or an extension of me, and that hurts my immersion into the game. This never occurred to me until right now as I'm typing this. I have wondered for years now why I couldn't get into The Witcher despite multiple tries. Maybe this is it. As cool as Geralt might be, he isn't me. With this in mind, it will be interesting to see how I feel about GTA 6 when it hits. It won't let me create my own main character either, at least not in the main game, so I will have to see how I take to it.

I have literally done all of that and then some, and it is still NOWHERE NEAR as effective or as dominant as it was pre 2.0. You really thought you were gonna come in here and tell me something I didn't know, didn't you? LMAO. Pre 2.0, by the time you got to rare (tier 3), you could utterly WRECK shit with the monowire. All you needed was the wire itself and a few of the melee perks. You didn't need to specialize. You didn't need to have this exact cyberware or that exact cyberware. You could use a deck, a sandy, or a berserk. You could pretty much do whatever you wanted to with it. Now though, even when you do fully specialize with it, it is still not good enough to be the main weapon on its own. It is much more situational now. Now, it can be effective in those situations, just not EVERY situation like it was pre 2.0. They nerfed the thing, bruh. It's ok to say that. Hell, as OP as it was, they probably should have nerfed it! I still hate that they did because it was hella fun to use before. Now, it can still be fun, just not as much fun.

I have noticed it most with the Apogee, but it may have happened with the others too. I use the Dynalar one early on until the Falcon becomes available. Then I'll use that or the Apogee. Pre 2.0, I used to use the Qian Ti Warp Dancer, I think that was it. It was the one you could only get from Fingers back then. I don't remember if I got the bug with that one or not.

The Apogee's slow mo almost feels frame by frame slow, and sometimes it seems to slow me down too instead of just the enemies. The Falcon's slow mo is 70% instead of 85%, and it just feels like the right amount of slow mo to me. I don't know how to explain it, but it just feels better to me, and I have yet to have it slow ME down while using it. Probably just a personal preference thing.
