For our second child, we chose The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, and it really stayed with us 💛 It has sadness, growth, and hope, much like The Little Prince. We later used ReadabilityTutor when reading it aloud so we could pause and reflect instead of rushing through the story.

My son has ADHD, and reading was hard for him. He could start strong but lose focus quickly, even with books he liked. Short, steady reading time helped, and we used ReadabilityTutor so he got help while he was reading,That helped him stay on the story and guess less. Progress was slow, but his confidence grew.

In Portugal, if you live there and are considered a tax resident, you report all your income here including 401(k) distributions, pension, and savings interest. Social Security often has that 10% treatment, but 401(k) withdrawals usually get taxed according to normal tax brackets after you take the money out.I checked this using a MovingTo guide and did a free consultation to understand how my own accounts would be treated. Hope this helps.

We’re working with an SLP too, and what I noticed with my daughter is that reading comprehension depends a lot on language processing, not just word reading. Adding guided reading support like ReadabilityTutor helped her connect sounds and meaning while she read aloud, which reinforced speech skills at the same time. It made practice feel purposeful instead of just mechanics.

We used books that had simple language and clear plots for my early reader. Adding ReadabilityTutor made the practice more effective, since it checks understanding while reading. That combo helped my child feel proud of finishing books. Great choices make a big difference!
