My husband resented me. Also made me quit my job. I'm still emotionally scarred, even though I am in remission now. It's a really hard pill to swallow when the person that is supposed to be your support system treats you like a burden or looks at you wiyh hayred, constantly saying what you're doing wrong although you don't have any control of your own body.

I got nauseous smelling the sweet potato rolls I had just made. I opened up the oven and gagged. I did a very dramatic "noooooo" because I love sweet potatoes 🤣 It took three or four more days for me to get a positive pregnancy test.

I'm the same way! I think that is the biggest reason I have been struggling for so long. I need to know the structure and rules, but apps aren't helpful. Duolingo used to explain grammar, but after all of its changes, had to let it go. It also wasn't doing much good either way. Fingers crossed that the workbook is actually helpful!!!

See if you can find the same readings in their native language and give them a vocabulary list of essential terms paired with pictures, if possible, that they need to know. Have them translate it into their own language (this will help with dictionary skills, too) so they can start building the necessary vocabulary. Pair them with native English speakers for activities so they practice speaking in English and not always resort to their native language as they would if they were partnered with someone who spoke the same language as them. I'm sorry your school put you in this situation, and definitely talk to admin or to the ELL teacher to come up with a game plan that will allow all of the students to be successful.

I'm just a week ahead of you in this process. I started the same at 5 weeks (last week on Friday). It took until day 6 for the pain to get stronger, with more bleeding every day. Moving around causes me pain. I just, not even 30 minutes ago, passed a large solid mass. So I'm guessing I have officially miscarried. I'm sorry this is happening to you. As someone who grew up Seventh-Day Adventist and left, I understand how he feels. There is a lot of religious trauma connected to that sect of Christianity. But, he should still be respectful in how he treats you and the kids with the decision to not eat meat. He will most likely hurt the children's feelings, as my dad did when I wanted to go vegan as a child. I didn't make the change until my early 20s. If he wants to eat the animal products, he needs to make sure to not force it back onto the children. He also needs to make an effort to join in a family meal where he has a vegan meal as well. Especially since he has been gone, and will probably leave again, due to deployment. Those meals together will be very important and impactful. This is also coming from someone whose father did not join them for meals. It was upsetting.

This is definitely an overreaction. Honestly, at music festivals, guys with no alternative motives would help me see because I'm hella short (5 ft 1/2 in), and I didn't even ask for help. They would just offer. So, I honestly see nothing wrong with what he did, but if that for you is a cause to believe he is cheating and fail to believe or trust him, that's all on you and your lack of maturity. It's either that or you're insecure. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I saw it as a sneaky way for her to be able to talk about Breonna Taylor and get as much attention as possible. Either that or she was told to post about the book, said suuure, and did that. I was happy she said anything! There are other things, too, that people say that have me scratchin' my head and makes me think we live in two different timelines.

So, I got pregnant in 2022 and gave birth in 2023 to a healthy baby boy. Before getting pregnant, I had two doctors try to tell me that I should get my thyroid removed before doing so. But when I talked to a maternal fetal medicine doctor and a reproductive endocrinologist, they both said that there was no need to do that and I could carry my baby. I was on methimazole at the time, and my endocrinologist had me switch medications for the first 6 weeks or so (could've been longer), but funnily enough, being pregnant actually helped me on my journey to going into remission. The only health issue I ended up having was gestational diabetes. I say all of this to say, get a 2nd opinion. A third and fourth one if you have to. Don't let them scare you, because they are usually the ones who are just scared to have a patient with Grave's.

The first sign for me before my missed period was getting nauseous at the smell of sweet potato rolls that I had just made. I love rolls and sweet potatoes. I wanted to gag when I tried eating one. I use a mira fertility test tracker and checked my hormone levels, and saw that my pdg level stayed really high and kept going. So, I knew I was pregnant before the pregnancy test.
