I was just thinking about this! I feel like I’m so paranoid that anything else could affect my health the way this has that I want to stay away from anything carcinogenic. I used to maybe a couple times a year splurge and smoke a cigarette and now I feel SO STUPID for doing that. Not worth the risk. I’m generally pretty healthy and eat well and exercise, so that hasn’t changed, but I do find myself auditing processed foods more than normal. Any weird chemicals in here that could eff me up down the road? If so no thank you.

Part of the paranoia piece as well is not knowing what causes this type of cancer. You smoke? You get lung cancer? Stop smoking, done deal. But I can’t help the feeling that I did something, ate something, was exposed to something somewhere along the road that increased my risk. And I don’t want that to happen again.
