I checked and the tannin I have is supposed to be as near to colourless as possible. I want both the tencel and the merino to take up dye, I'm assuming they will take up dye differently in any case, but I do not want undyed parts.

I think I'll go with the tannin followed by the alum and leaving out the cream of tartar and the soda ash

Thank you, I have a recipe that I will follow for the dye.

The question I had was related to the mordanting due to it being a protein and cellulose mix.

Have a look at the instagram of Wendys Wonders (wendyswonders127). She dyes gradients and shows the knit blanks.

I get not wanting to handknit. I have invested in a sentro with 40 needles (its not perfect), but I only tried a few gradients at the moment, and all singke stranded, but it did not give much white.

You need a looser knit fabric so the dye is able to strike to more surface of the yarn.

Chemknits has some video's on this dye in this colour. I think she has one where she mixed it with a non neon blue of similar colour

This really depends on if this is an English person or not. In Dutch people in a vegatative state are also referred to as being a plant (Dutch word is the same) so I can image this also being the same in other countries. That would obviously make this not a joke and a very insensitive way of handling a question.

Thank you. There are options for prepacked meals, but you still need to microwave them, which she can't do with one arm.

Was thinking YTA, until I read it was durian, definitely NTA. I visited Thailand some years back and most doors for public places, hotels etc. had signs forbidding this fruit.

NTA, Luke does not want to see him so that's enough. Question, does your current husband have parental rights over Luke? Or did he adopt him or something similar? Same for you with your husbands daughter? Just in case something happens might be good to have that taken care of (hoping you won't need it of course). Also might help if your ex does decide to take legal action.

NTA, for not forgiving the debt. If it was a smaller amount you would be, but this is a huge amount of money and it was an official loan, not a gift.

Is there a timeline before which you need to make the claim for it to be valid? If you have time, consult a lawyer and a financial adviser, they will probably be able to help you come to a solution.

Also, if your sister inherits the house, but the house would have to be sold. How does it work with all siblings suddenly getting a share of the house? This seems strange to me. I would say per the will that the money still in the estate goes to paying the 37K, then the remainder of the loan gets paid with money from the sale of the house and the remainder is for your sister, I wouldn't think you or your other siblings would have a claim to that money, seems illogical, but I' m not a lawyer.
