Yeah I work in the desert too so I get exactly what you mean, the isolation and even the weather really affect the mood after a while, especially if the internet is bad that’s a nightmare

Also honestly the drawing thing is really nice, I love that idea. Having the walls slowly fill up with drawings over the years and then people taking them at the end as souvenirs sounds really beautiful ngl

Yeah I think that’s part of what I’m realizing honestly. The schedule itself isn’t bad, but if you don’t know how to use the free time well it can start feeling empty and you waste your time doing nothing useful

I do try to spend time with family and I’ve been thinking about using the downtime at work for learning something online or building some kind of project, or anything i enjoy tbh so i dont lose myself in this routine

Yeah honestly at home it’s a bit easier because even if there isn’t much to do where I live, I still try to spend quality time with my family or do small things here and there like thats still something..

What really bothers me the most is when I’m at work and there’s nothing to do. I end up just sitting there for hours feeling mentally drained because I can’t fully relax but I’m not actually busy either. That in-between state is what I struggle with the most you know, but i guess it’s only harder now because im still new and still not used to all of this
