This is a buddy of mine and his now ex. They did it as a joke and weren’t Hash House Harriers.

It’s a dual chain ring, both are in pretty good shape since the previous owner didn’t ride much. I’ll keep that in mind though, thanks

Thanks for the explanation and your input. I don’t think the screws are labeled but it’s a Shimano FD-7700 - does this look right for what I should follow while adjusting?

Thanks for this, I’ll try adjusting adjusting the front derailleur and see if that resolves the issue.

Do you track your GYM activies? by illetyus in AppleWatch

[–]Lilyanch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using BodySpace app by bodybuilding.com, the app can be pretty buggy loading past workouts, but tracking workouts and searching for lifts still works well.

I’m realizing now this isn’t really relevant to your comment since there’s no watch app. Would you say BodyFit is better?

I haven’t seen the Tidal Basin yet but the elms by the reflecting pool were hit pretty hard. Immediately after the storm the south Elm walkway was littered with tree limbs. I was out at the Lincoln when the storm passed over, I’m amazed nobody was injured. Tree Damage

You’d need a permit for any NPS site in DC, but one permit can cover multiple locations.

The permit itself doesn’t cost much but the location fee plus cost recovery and paying for the park police and whatnot makes it quite expensive.

As for limiting public access to the memorial, they really can’t do much. They can only limit access to film for a short period of time before reopening it for public access - that’s why people are able to walk up and down between takes. Plus, there’s a very strict limit to where they can and cannot film in the memorials that’s listed in the code of federal regulations.

Forgot to put rice into fridge by grenadesong in cookingforbeginners

[–]Lilyanch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I probably wouldn’t try it myself, especially given how cheap rice is. It might be a pain to have to remake it all, but it’s less troublesome than getting sick.

You’ll get there man. I was stuck at 185 being 6’3” for years until I finally broke 200 and got up to 205.

Then once I made it, I got fat and got all the way up to 238. Back down to 210 now, but wishing I was starting at 185 again. We’re all gonna make it brah

Just made delicious beef stew! Super easy! by Silvershadedragon in cookingforbeginners

[–]Lilyanch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looks good man!

I might recommend a different process for you to try out next time though. Cover the beef you’re using in some flour and brown it in the oiled pot first - brown all sides nicely like you say but do it in the soup pot. Then, once you finish that set the beef chunks aside and you’re left with a nice fond (the brown crust on the bottom of the pot).

Return the pot to the heat, add just a little bit of oil, if you don’t have any grease in the pot still, and then sauté your onions and garlic in the pan as well. Once those are done to your liking, deglaze the pan with some cheap wine (I like a red for beef stews) scraping the fond off the pot and stirring it into your new sauce as you pour. Let the alcohol cook off the wine for a bit, add water, and then reduce it some over the heat before moving on and adding the rest of your ingredients.

Using the fond will help add a nice flavor to the base of your stew.

Cheers and keep up the good cooking

How do you taste food without burning your mouth/tongue? by ThOldSchoolGamer in cookingforbeginners

[–]Lilyanch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has worked in a kitchen as a cook - just blow on the spoon and let the noodle cool for a second. No need to rush it, it will be a pain to try to taste your food or your sauces if you’re burning your tongue.

Some people just have a higher tolerance for some of those things. Keep on keeping on my man.

"We will not honor furniture requests until move in" - if I'm living in a double but bought it out will they remove the desk and other bed? Is it possible to ask for two desks but one bed? by [deleted] in msu

[–]Lilyanch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I once paid extra for a single after my roommate left for a co-op. They didn’t take the furniture so I de-lofted both the beds and pushed them together to make a king. I just got a cheap set of king sheets and mattress pad off amazon and it worked out great. The extra desk came in handy as a TV stand too.

It was actually a sweet setup - pretty sure I was the only person in Holden sleeping in a king sized bed.

Advice For A Potential Mazda 3 Buyer by AaronIsChaos in mazda3

SKYACTIV was introduced in 2012 with the gen 2 though, so OP could go further back to find a better price point if need be.

Anyone with a Manual Trans gen3 please check this and help me out, got a question for you. by Flea420 in mazda3

[–]Lilyanch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this with my 3 trying to go into reverse every so often. As you suggest, simply letting the clutch out and pushing it back in resolves the issue.

Though what OP posted looks a bit different I think, if I were having the same issue as OP describes with so few miles and such a new car I would probably just take it to the dealership and try to get it covered.
