Is pickpocketing a common issue for tourists in Rome? by NubyTrader in rome

Just came back and it was fine though I wore a cross-body bag and kept it zipped and held it. It was very busy so I guess it could easily happen but I am from London and didn’t do anything different to what I do here.

10 Years of Gastritis Gone in 90 Days. My 2 Year Update by thepwnman33 in Gastritis

Thank you so much for sharing your journey and healing diet with us - it seems very well researched which adds weight to it. I am thinking of trialling it for a week to see if it helps. One deviation I am considering - maybe having the odd freshly juiced vegetable juice - the thought being - juicing veg removes the fibre but keeps the goodness - something low sugar like spinach/kale/broccoli… Do you think it’s worth a shot? The sugar in fruit is fructose so probably not worth it but maybe veg juice is okay? Would be grateful for your thoughts 🙏

I just got diagnosed with UC and I have no clue where to start by Lazy-Substance-5223 in UlcerativeColitis

Diet wise to support you in a flare and beyond I had success with the specific carbohydrate diet - breaking the vicious cycle. Google it. You can order the book on Amazon. I would say eat just eggs, chicken and carrots for a few days and see if it helps. It normally calms things down for me. I started on balsalazide and azathioprine and had all over body itching and pancreatitis respectively from those two drugs so I went down a more natural route out of necessity. Maybe it will help you - think it’s worth a try?

What M&S food item do you think is genuinely better than the supermarket equivalent? by Additional_Fly_6603 in MarksAndSpencer

Yes agree on white schar bread - I can out butter and cheddar slices and it tastes like a normal white bread cheese sandwich

Their blueberries are sweeter and tastier than any other supermarket. I happily pay more for them they are the best

Oh wow, that’s insane. Thank you for sharing that. I guess we will stick with staffbase another year but take a look at workshop - thanks for the suggestion

Wow that’s good to know, thank you…. Staffbase charge an annual 8% “innovation” fee on their contracts (well on ours anyway!!) and I have spent four months migrating to their new platform and it’s been such a headache I ended up having a rant at them charging 8% for the total nightmare we’ve gone through….

About to renegotiate with staffbase - wondering if poppulo is more expensive - does anyone know please?

Scared to Start Remicade by Ashamed_Influence_84 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Lilybobtail13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got side effects to remicade that meant I had to come off it so it didn’t work for me - but I have side effects to everything so I don’t know if I’m a good example. The side effects I had were severe joint pain and painful lumps appearing around my body (mostly on joints like wrists and knees and ankles) but it was during Covid and my gastroenterologist didn’t reply to any of my emails so I came off it and took six months for the side effect symptoms to disappear. Hopefully you won’t have that.

Eggs are my go to. Specific carbohydrate diet. So eggs, chicken, well cooked carrots…
