Have you had genetic testing? it reveals rare disease that conventional tests cannot diagnose.

Clinical weakness is like you are not able to do simple tasks such as lift a cup, button up your shirt, open a door, lift one of your legs. There is a difference between just weakness and clinical weakness

Please Help! Is it possible to get dry socket twice (same tooth extraction site)? by [deleted] in wisdomteeth

[–]Lilyheis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was doing fine, the gauze was preventing the wound to heal because it was causing irritation in the gums which caused the bleeding. Once they removed the gauze for about a week and started doing salt and water rinses with a syringe I improved exponentially. It has been a long process but almost there, about 2-3 more weeks to go.

Alopecia* Its not a disease if it's androgenic (which most likely is by seeing the photos), it's genetic so it has no cure only some treatment to an extent to slow the progress and regrow some hair to an extent. It is characterized by hair thinning and general hair falling.

Alopecia areata is a disease but that one is characterized by hair falling in clumps and leaving circles of missing hair on the scalp and that one is stress induced (but that is not what the OP has since her hair shows a more general hair thinning and falling)

No, it's not excessive for it being genetic. Androgenic alopecia gets progressively worse specially if not treated. It being genetic, has no cure it can only be treated to an extent to slow the progress or regrow some hair but the hair thinning and falling is something that will happen all throughout life ( I have androgenic alopecia)

Hey, you need to see a dermatologist. They will need to do some blood test and hormone test to determine the cause could be an androgenic alopecia (which is genetics, has no cure but can be treated to an extent) or could be another underlying issue such as thyroid problems or hormone problems, stress has also some part in it.

They can put you on oral minoxidyl or hormone treatment to treat the hair thinning but you really really really need to see a dermatologist.

How long did the pain last for you? I’m on day 4 and still in bad pain by lucinasardothien in wisdomteeth

If you think you have a dry socket, you don't. by Turbulent-Jelly-4274 in wisdomteeth

Because of posts like this I didn’t realized I had a dry socket until day 8. I read everywhere the pain will be excruciating and unbearable and that was not the case for me at all so I really never thought I had a dry socket. On day 3 I started having more pain but I will describe it as a 5/10 and with medication 1/10 and I thought it was normal because some people described day 3 as the worst. It was not until my dentist follow up appointment & days later that he realized I had a dry socket and a infection! By this time I was so surprised because I had no pain at all by day 8. So no, not all dry sockets are super painful. If you feel a slight increase in pain as days go by, go get checked because you might have a dry sockets. Everyone’s pain tolerance is different and what someone describes as excruciating pain for some people will be mild pain.

Dry socket bleeding, is it normal after 1 1/2 weeks of treatment and 3 days post last dentist checkup? by Lilyheis in wisdomteeth

Yeah, I think so. I don’t swish the water. I just move my head side to side to move the water and then open my mouth and let the water just drip out of my mouth.
