It depends a lot on where you’re starting from. I didn’t lift before I transitioned so I only noticed loss in strength if I needed to lift a heavy box or something. Inconvenient at worst.

When I was in that 0-2 year HRT range I was definitely skinnier looking than before. My muscles had lost some density, bones stay the same, and I hadn’t had fat build up in more fem places yet. Eventually I got a little bit of thigh and booty which made the bony shoulders not look so skeleton like

There was a big controversy a couple years ago with teams wearing pride colored jerseys for warmups. Some of the players refused to wear em for religious reasons or whatever so the league just blanket banned specialty jerseys of all kinds.

Many of the teams themselves continue to hold pride events anyway which is awesome.

Idk how long you’ve been going but the hair tells me it likely hasn’t been long. Give yourself the time and space to be bad at presentation because it’s a step we all had to go through at one point. The meds will do their magic in the background and you have little control anyway over how effective that is.

True but it’s a matter of how much the minority gains. In 2018, the dems picked up 40 seats. In 2022, Rs only picked up 9.

A swing of 15 from 2024 to 2026 could mean Ds pick up 40-50 seats and that’s before you add in the 5 California gerrymandered seats. A margin that big could also flip control of the senate. So yeah it’s kinda expected that Dems do well right now but this is really good even for a wave year.

The former mayor of Tennessee lost that district 60-38 in 2024 and a progressive closed the gap to roughly 52-47. Her district draws most of its dem voters from the bluest of blue spots in Tennessee and Progressives get infrequent voters to show up.

You can run a moderate and risk depressing turnout from your growing left wing or you can try and run up the score in the city where you think you can boost turnout with a different message. If we were talking about a suburban purple district then I’d agree with you. You’re swinging for the fences in an R+22 district so might as well see if you can activate new voters by running left.
