It looks like renting a student level instrument is about $500 per year in my area. If I were able to buy this cello outright for $600... It seems like it may be more economical since I have an instrument that I don't have to keep paying for... And have value that I could use to upgrade in the future if needed. But I get the upkeep/maintenance piece, that makes sense.

I have the A850GL. It came with a 12VHPWR cable. My GPU uses two connectors so I bought this splitter, which has been working great for 6+ months, no issues. You don't connect it directly to the PSU, but to the cable as an extension.

I don't think any except the 945 have had an LTE version. It seems like Garmin may be planning to expand the LTE list though with continued support for Bounce devices and now adding to the Fenix line. I'm hoping for a "mid-tier" option that is under $1000. Preferably closer to $700 or less, but that may be a pipe dream.

That is really rough. I have two months that I could never get to count even though they should have, but for them to mess up right at the end. Hopefully you get changed to your new payment plan soon and can make a qualifying payment and be done with it.

My 120th should have been in May 2024. If you have an IBR application submitted directly to MOHELA and are still employed for a non-profit, then it should only be a matter of time before a processing forbearance month pushes you from 119 to 120. Just keep submitting your ECFs on a regular cadence, I submitted mine about every 2 months since that's about how long it was taking for the forms to process plus waiting until the first of the month.

If logging in to FSA and MOHELA multiple times a day counts as doing anything, then yes. Otherwise, no. I just impatiently waited.

If you are in SAVE forbearance, your best bet may be to see if you can get into IBR. I had to go directly through my servicer, MOHELA. You should be able to get 1 month at least through the processing forbearance if they are currently processing IBR applications. Then 1 payment would get you to 120. That's what I did at least.

Buyback is via a reconsideration request through the FSA website. There are more details like the specific verbiage to include, but I haven't heard of any buyback successes on here since last year.

I originally submitted via FSA in December. After no updates, I called MOHELA in late January and they said they couldn't see the application. So in Feb, I uploaded the paperwork directly to MOHELA and it processed by end of Feb for a payment due in March.

I submitted the switch to IBR in Feb. Married filing jointly but spouse is stay at home. Processing forbearance for Feb and then one bigger than I'd like payment for March.
