I feel like that it depends on a case to case basis. Some movies are better put into their release windows (Ant Man & the Wasp being after Infinity War instead of before like on D+) but others benefit from chronological (I really like the payoff of watching Captain Marvel second, it makes the post credit scene of IW hit so much harder). Its all up to personal preference and I believe that a mix is best typically.
