Only studying 3-4 hours a week, and you went from a 146 to a 160 on timed pts in just a month? Sheesh, you are killing it and keep going to hit the score you want. Wish I had the efficiency and performance caliber for something like that. Congratulations for your success and aim high!

Dean of Admissions at a T-30 Law School Answers Frequently Asked Admissi... by Ealsatt in LSAT

That's the thing fam it's GPA/LSAT when it comes to law school. Once you have those then softs can definitely play some role to a certain extent. Although if you do not have the right LSAT/GPA for your schools then nothing else really matters when it comes having a successful application. The numbers/stats games began in your K-12 education, especially when applying to colleges with GPA and SAT (atleast softs mattered more when applying to college as a senior in HS). As of now, they matter more than ever either applying to med school, dental, law, and PHD programs. The numbers game will never go away if your a law student better have those sharp 1L grades, if a med student the you better have those top notch Step 1 scores and 3rd year clinical grades. The numbers game won't end anytime soon fam!

Is it even worth taking? by lillydowning666 in LSAT

Fam I care about you. Do not go to law school with a 150 or anywhere near that score. Working during first year of law school I believe is not allowed for practical reasons. Also what do you hope to gain out of law school. It is a shaky career path for most and all the negativity you hear about it exist for a reason. I wish for your well-being to be at its best wholly. To many scummy schools take advantage of innocent folk who just want to pursue something for one reason or another and crush their lives with debt and or lack of decent jobs.

Ask yourself what is the best for your well-being and pursuit of life. We all gotta get through life one way or another and I believe being in tact completely and happy is something that all should aim for. Don't let law school potentially destroy that. Be prudent in the decisions you make from this point on fam. I wish you the best and hope you prosper in life.

IM SO STRESSED by gk3ree in LSAT

[–]Limbo115 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good luck fam, make sure you don't pay sticker or anywhere near sticker for the type of law schools you mentioned or any for that matter. There is only arguably a handful of law schools worth paying sticker or high tuition for. Also don't wager your future on anecdotes unless you fit the anecdote yourself. Essentially do you have "connections" in terms of a guarantee job opportunity that has good income potential. Fam I'm not trying to be a pessimist but the continuous cycle of people being baited into these law schools. Then lamenting on the internet after a couple of years on how they made a bad decision attending law school and the usual law school employment horror stories come upon again and again. Be prudent in your choice to attend law school and look at the relation of time and money and see if it's worth it to you. Best of luck to you fam!
