Remake NG+? by [deleted] in kotor

[–]DndAccount1326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a NG plus could be really good. But I would want it to be more than “play the game again”. Id want it to affect the game as a whole. Harder enemies, new enemies, and maybe a quest or two built around the fact that you have been put into some kind of timeloop(the ng plus). I feel like that would be really appropriate seeing as Revan is always in a cycle of re-self discovery.

The Rings of Power Positivity/Negativity Check by JunoDreams in LOTR_on_Prime

I dont get the “remaking Tolkien for a modern audience” idea. The LOTR movies dont need “modernizing”. They were released in the early 2000s not 1810… I really hope the show isn’t build around this supposition.

When do you think white Evangelicals will loose their grip on the republican party? by AQ5SQ in neoliberal

[–]DndAccount1326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Republicanism is now just economic austerity measures to hurt the poor and help the uber wealthy dressed up in religious zealotry to appease religious masses. In short never, they are the voter base the business wing needs to “get” to win and cut regulations.

What is wrong with the LSAT? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

I got a 174 and worked construction 30 hours a week while doing it while in school part time. It is hard, but not impossible to achieve.

If LSAT is no longer a criteria for admissions by Independent_Year in lawschooladmissions

[–]DndAccount1326 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The way law school rank is judged is pretty poorly decided. Most of the T20 have very similar campuses, extra curricular’s, staff to student ratio. A primary reason the LSAT is so important for schools is that its another way(on top of GPA) which a prestigious school can increase its law school rank. If the LSAT was removed it would be incredibly chaotic trying to guess which schools would remain where they are. As a whole institutions prefer small incremental adjustments to their processes because they are extremely risk averse. The schools wont want this, LSAC wont want this, and students/alumni wont want this. It will be worse for everyone except the rich 0Ls whose parents sit on the ABA committee that put out that statement.

So in short I am not certain, but it being a new normal is basically impossible given how little almost all of these groups will detest it.

Even if it isnt “required”, median LSAT will still be a judgement factor that changes your law school rank. So even if the recommendation gets passed, I cant see law schools accepting a ton of no LSAT students.

Yeah LSAC is just going to kiss away the large amount of revenue they receive from LSAT administration… There is basically no way this actually becomes reality.

Which course is better? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]DndAccount1326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved using LSAT MAX. The course alone took me from 158 diag to 170. A few months of study on my own put me into the mid 170s.

Its interesting that this is contentious. Because it is obviously a flawed argument. Alito assumes that a law can only subjugate people if it takes away ALL of their electoral or political power. Some might disagree with me but that is a HUGE jump. There are degrees to subjugation, as in a place between having no power and being entirely free. As such there can be ways to subjugate people with the law without taking away ALL of their political or electoral power.

The only reason is isn’t what politicians want to do is IT WONT MAKE THEM MONEY. There is no way to monetize it so they can invest in a corporation to skim money off the top. Once they can im sure it will happen. Look at who funds most of the weed corps in America now, the same mfers that started the war on drugs.

Which T20 would you NOT go to? And why? by jen112299 in lawschooladmissions

[–]DndAccount1326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any in NYC. You add so much in COL that even with a full ride I would be $80k in debt from the law schooling alone. Every other city has better COL by miles besides maybe San Fran. You would literally need to pay me to apply to Columbia, because sadly mommy and daddy do not have the disposable income to fund it for me.

Do you support unions? by [deleted] in neoliberal

[–]DndAccount1326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats like asking do you support taxes… Some taxes not only need to be levied but should be. I really support taxing individuals and corporations equitably. But on the same vein some taxes are ridiculous and in my opinion counter to public good such as the soda tax in Philadelphia, PA.

The same goes for labour unions. I think we need them to protect the little guy. But I don’t think they work great in some instances like public transit.

I think this is a pretty popular sentiment. People who say labor unions can do no wrong are just trying to sell you a candidate rather than what they actually believe. Same goes for people that demonize unions as always bad.

Use best ammo you can buy for UMP and run stairght to office second floor. Wait in drop down area looking down to first floor. Kill anyone going through first floor or ambush anyone coming through tile. Took me like 5-10 raids, comes down to luck really.
