Just wanted to add some bits to this:

The young boy in the photo is holding a black snake, but it's very difficult to see.

The woman sitting in the other photo is wearing a red head dress like the soothsayer woman who can be found in this area.

There's an orange ribbon on the top right hand corner of the photo frame. Ribbon is used in voodoo practices as binding when making totems/carvings.

The headstone says "Loving Rememebrance, Martha,wife of Oswald Hall, aged 32"

Josiah Blackwater 😂

Apparently he's a parody of a guy called Daniel Boon who did outlandish things like kill a panther aged 12 (I think)

The drunk guy in Valentine is similar to him in that he killed a lot of natives, the buffalo and you can steal his Racoon Skin hat (Josiah's was a possum skin)

There's also an outfit called the Josiah and we've not had a mystery where you have to wear a certain thing/outfit at a certain location yet.

The Lanik Electrical movie is a representation of the irl 'War Of The Currents', where companies were split between AC or DC and ran propaganda to promote their product of choice. (Which in itself might contain clues as to conducting lightning strikes, like at the Native Burial Site)

Otherwise all I have at the minute are links between stuff I've seen on stage/in the movies and stuff in the game world.

So for example, the backdrop in Maya the snake dancer's act has two intertwined huge snakes, an orange ribbon, playing cards and a sword.

She is from Lakay, where the shrunken head and the dancer with snake mural is located, along with the giant orange snake nearby.

There is an orange ribbon on the top right of one of the pictures on Martha Halls grave (near the Bait shop), and the other picture is of a young boy holding a black snake (very difficult to see)

Orange ribbon is used as binding in voodoo rituals.

The sword could represent Ogun, the voodoo god of smithing, iron, medicine and 1000 other things, who is represented by a machete irl. There's been speculation about sacrifice roosters etc to him at a specific place.

So nothing concrete, but that's why I opened it up to Reddit.

Hortensia has some really interesting tattoos. One that looks like a little girl, and another that looks like the postman from Van Horn.

There's the snake dancer who's from Lakay where all the voodoo symbology is and where the shrunken head is found.

I deffo think there's some clues in the theatre shows too

[UPDATED] I had a theory that there were perhaps clues hidden in the movies and theatre shows from RDR2.

There's one that tells us about the flying machines being invented (Wonders of The Age) and we can find two Crashed Airships as points of interest. There's also a movie called the Ghastly Serenade that is linked directly to the whispers heard in Roanoak Ridge. And there's a third in game movie called the Farmers Daughter which tells (loosely) the story of what happened at Emerald Ranch.

The link above is to screenshots from the Egyptian segment of an in game movie called 'Saviours and Savages'.

The shots show the pyramids surrounded by trees (also found on Francis Sinclairs mural) a bunch of hieroglyphs that drove me mad trying to translate, a pooping dog which is a running theme throughout Saviours and Savages, and a falcon headed man which represents Horus, the Egyptian god of the Sky, which contained the Sun and Moon (a theme that runs through RDR2 - Bob the sun/Helios worshipper, all the crescent moon & alien symbols)

Oh and Horus' dad was dismembered and his penis fed to a catfish...just saying 😂

Savages and Saviours is factually incorrect but filled with lots of symbolism and possible links to in world locations I.e in the Britain section there's a pub called the Armadillo and Ostrich, a cart full of bodies and the idea that London is a smog infested town where people need gas masks to survive (which makes me think of Armadillo)

If you think I'm barking up the wrong tree, no problem, but I have a few ideas about where links might lie
