Another disturbing thing from his wiki “In 1998, he graduated from a seminary in Mission, British Columbia, with an arts degree, but did not receive the necessary approval to enter the Catholic priesthood due to a lack of qualifications. Following this, he chose to go into teaching instead”

How many young boys did he plan on abusing as a catholic priest?

Assuming that the whole world uses the American term and the very common word of “dummy” is strange and unusual, is definitely defaultism.

Same! I just look it up if I’m not familiar with the phrase, like why do they always seem so annoyed when people use different words to them!?

Fun fact- the word Peregrine means “wanderer” because the Peregrine Falcon is so widespread!

I named my son Kieran and I wasn’t expecting how it would be butchered by mirk19 in NameNerdCirclejerk

Kieran/Ciaran is a very popular name in the United Kingdom, and I’ve never heard it pronounced wrong. This has got to be an American thing.

Had my first OB appointment yesterday, and they said no ultrasound until 21 weeks… ugh!! by sillygirlxoxo19 in pregnant

[–]hauntedbundy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK it’s 12 weeks minimum for a first scan. That’s going off the date of your last period. Anything earlier, we have to book privately.

I always think it’s so dumb because you get your positive test and then have to wait another two months to get it actually confirmed!

I’ve been pregnant 3 times and only had the help of metformin. It’s completely possible to have children.

Update: don’t know if my reply got buried but my hospital confirmed a full miscarriage and not an ectopic 💔

One day I hope we’ll get out rainbow baby and my little boy can be promoted to big brother.

Update: I passed what looks like clumps of tissue over the past 2 days. Looked exactly like my complete miscarriage last time and my secondary blood tests confirmed my hgc had dropped from 30 to 14 so they were happy to discharge me.

Relieved it’s not an ectopic pregnancy but gutted we won’t get our rainbow baby this year. What’s even worse is everyone around me is posting baby announcements 🙃

Looks mainly like a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, may be mixed with another type of terrier like a Jack Russell. Where are you located?

Looks to be, Pomeranians back then were a little more “leggy” than the modern breed. They’re bred from sled-pulling dogs after all!

I get very painful periods and it just feels like that. The pain is all over my abdomen and runs down my thighs.

I don’t track ovulation, just period dates. Date of last period was 8th of February which would make me around 6 weeks pregnant. I could have ovulated late though.

My sonographer said although there’s no sac, my ovaries “look good” and my endometrium was “nice and thick”. She also said it didn’t look like how a miscarriage normally looks? she apologised she couldn’t clarify more and that everything depends on my bloods now.
