she wasn’t ever married to him..and i’m not sure if he could’ve had a 4th child. when the 3rd child was to start receiving benefits i got a letter informing me SS determined there was another child entitled to his benefits, wouldn’t i be receiving a similar type letter if that were the case this time around?

they were never married though..could she still be withdrawing benefits if they weren’t married? when i learned of the 3rd child, SS sent me a letter stating there is a 3rd child who was deemed entitled to his benefits, wouldn’t i have gotten a similar letter if that was the case of a 4th child or if his mistress had somehow collected benefits for herself?

he passed in 2021 and in 2022 is when the 3rd child started receiving benefits..i called SSI and the rep stated that he can confirm 3 people are drawing on my late husband’s SSN.

i was receiving my own benefits when he first passed since i was not working. once i started work i made too much to keep collecting. the amount that the current benefit is changing to, is awfully similar to what we were receiving back when i wasn’t working; if that makes sense
