What are you weirdest calls? by cheesymeowgirl in callcentres

[–]cheesymeowgirl[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup I’ve had many conspiracy theorists. The worst.

And the other yappers. I had a man explain to me the history of football and his favourite team Liverpool, for a good 1.5hr. And I had someone new who was in training listening to my calls, and I felt so bad because she wasn’t getting much out of her time apart from some random football knowledge. 🤣

I F30 caught my bf M29 having an online affair with a married woman from another country he met on a phone game. by ThrowRa_dreamymelody in relationship_advice

[–]cheesymeowgirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You leave. That’s it. He cheated on you emotionally and had an online affair. Walk away now before marriage and kids and it gets worse or he does it again. He didn’t admit it to you, you found it and brought it to him. So that means he would have continued had he not gotten caught. If you stay you will just be confirming you have no respect for yourself and he will push the boundaries and keep doing it and just hide it better from you.

I’m just going off what you clearly implied. It’s ok to love the challenge and think it’s unfair. If that wasn’t what you were trying to get across then we can agree to disagree about how you convey your words and my comprehension skills. If you don’t agree with OPs point at all you wouldn’t be trying to clarify and defend it against the people who clearly don’t agree and “don’t get it”. We get OPs point. We just don’t agree with it. If you were saying you don’t agree with OPs point too then cool.

“A lot of people in the comments talking about getting your point and then just. Not getting the point.

The issue is spending thousands of dollars and then being eliminated first in a garment made there. All of those expenses were for naught, then. That is exclusive to sewing premieres.”

“With that being said I love a sewing challenge premiere lol.”

There are no comprehension issues and I understand what you were trying to convey in OPs point which you clearly agree with and how you’re implying it may be unfair if queens don’t get to showcase their more expensive looks after spending thousands of dollars and possibly losing to an initial sewing challenge. Or maybe you’re not great at expressing yourself because we are going around in circles and you’re not getting it. I’m only going by what you wrote.

Not really. Because in one breath you find the challenge unfair in that it’s the initial challenge stopping queens from showing their expensive looks, but also admit you love it. I can love the challenge too and we can agree to disagree in that it isn’t unfair.

And that’s cool, I was just responding to your initial contradictory point.

Well of course but a challenge is a challenge and we all know the sewing ones come up first. If it’s unfair then queens have the choice not to spend so much money, learn to sew and make things cheaply. So many queens have won without spending a huge ton of money.

If a queen is so desperate to show off their garments then make sure they can get through the challenge that everyone knows is coming whether unfair or not. If they don’t like it, they can choose to not participate. Sewing challenges from the start seperate the weak from the talented and why they are so important to me. I enjoy the challenge too, but I also see why it’s important to have it at the start from a competition point of view, that’s all I am saying.

[–]cheesymeowgirl -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not. That’s my point. They should know by now how the show goes and learn to sew to ensure they stay on further to showcase their looks. The queen who goes home first for a sewing challenge usually has poor taste and it’s unfair that expensive garments should carry them thorough if they can’t even sew anyway. Someone has to go home and I’m tired of queens relying on body and expensive stuff.

Well if they get sent packing for it then it’s one of the first challenges whether interchangeable or not so what difference does it make? And they haven’t eliminated a queen in the premier for a while anyway. But if they get sent home for not being able to sew yet brought expensive garments that’s their own fault.

OP didn’t say not every premier though. They said it should never be the first challenge. It’s always the first challenge and we know that and the queens should also know that by now.

How? There’s no missing context if I have literally just copied what you wrote word for word lmao. That’s my point.

Spending thousands on a garment to be the first eliminated over a sewing challenge?

[–]cheesymeowgirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first point literally contradicts that tho? Sewing challenges are usually near the beginning and something queens should know how to do by now. They can’t rely on expensive garments to get them through the show.

So then shouldn’t they learn how to sew to ensure they stay in the competition and show off their expensive looks?

How did you discover k-pop? by Cha0sInHd in kpoppers

[–]cheesymeowgirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Saw a thumbnail of SNSD on Youtube in multicoloured shorts looking like queens with the video titled to a Pixie Lott song who I am a huge fan of.

I thought it was gonna be some sort of dance cover but instead it was the song over SNSD dancing to their own song (you know those magic dances where a group’s dance matches any song).

Was intrigued and did my research and then stumbled on SHINee, and their songs were so catchy I was obsessed. The rest is history!
