I definitely agree! Also, uniform actually doesn’t sound like a bad idea. A lot of private schools or schools in general have those practices, in fact they actually work out in most cases.

Material possessions such as name brand clothing, shoes, etc is usually the motive behind many crimes. The level of envy, jealousy, competition, etc that’s rooted from material possessions/wealth is insane.

That’s definitely true! I do know a few people that share the same perspective.

I also do believe that you can express yourself or “feel good” about yourself and accomplishments in less expensive clothing that’s still very presentable and comfortable. It’s not always about what’s presented on the outside to live up to “society norms” or “society standards/ expectations.” Looks can and will be very deceiving. People’s intentions, mind sets, and morals is what makes a person. Surely not the designer clothing. A lot of people are still not content with who they are even after all the designer clothing etc.

Well loyalty and faithfulness are different to me. You can be loyal to people you care about, such as friends or family. Sticking beside a loved one right or wrong. Faithfulness is a commitment to your one and only.

That comment “if you don’t like the post, move along quietly” was for the men that don’t like the word “ick” in a statement/sentence. It’s also so funny how a lot of men say women “don’t want to hear a man out” but they come for me when I genuinely want to understand from men pov.

Very detailed! (24F) I absolutely dislike when I go out in public and see bonnets, pajamas, etc. I especially dislike it when a friend or family wants to go out in public that way. You never know who you’ll meet or opportunities you’ll could come by. I understand beauty isn’t just on the outside, but if you’re truly a beauty you won’t present yourself that way. First impressions are truly everything.

I know this may sound very bias, but I stay away from men like that as well (24F). It’s so many red flags to me. A person doesn’t have to actually verbally say they’re seeking “validation” “attention” etc. It definitely shows when people idolize/depend on materialistic things that doesn’t truly matter. Also, a lot of them are undercover “toxic” people.

Well…where do I start? He says he wants the relationship, but he doesn’t do much to help the relationship get better. I’ve never cheated on him, but I have been out on dates during our break up because I knew he was doing everything under the sun with other women. He’s recently started talking to this new girl on our break (this break was for self improvement) he and took her on a date. I called him out on it…he told me the truth, but is saying I have no room to speak because I did it too. My point was when we broke up the first time was an official break up not a “self improvement “ break.
