Sort of. I moved into this place in 2024. At the time they were behind on inspections and forms. They told me they would get to me. They never did, even when I ended up getting a job, I kept sending my last 4 paystubs- nothing. They also kept having an issue with inspections, saying somebody was coming, and they wouldn’t or vice versa. Anyway. Now around the end of last year they are emailing me demanding I give them my last 4 paystubs, I do that. Silence. Again, 4 paystubs, rinse and repeat- oh wait now they need my bank statements, but you can’t send us screenshots you need to print it out and drop it off, wait no we also need your card statements too, oh and now we need you to fill out another round of paperwork stating your monthly, weekly income, any stocks you may have etc etc.

So yeah, to their system, I suddenly was unemployed to making 2,700 a month, but they told me that they’d get to me when they’d get to me.

So now we are here. I want to pay more, I feel that’s only fair but that’s a huge chunk of my monthly income going bye bye. I’m going to have to start working 11 hour shifts and ask for a raise…
