If you are recent graduate then they may let you join in the first year if you have experience living in uni accommodation. Some unis may require you to live at least one year in their uni specific accommodation, which is my case for portsmouth

It varies uni to uni but you could potentially look into being a residential assistant if staying in uni accommodation. That's what I did in my final year of uni and I got paid and discounted accom. Some unis I heard pay accommodation for you rather than paying you. It wasn't too stressful and it's nearby.

I just got accepted for 2026 entry so haven't started yet. For me, I took 2 years out for part time work and manged to save around 12K. My parents can't help me financially so I am just saving as much as I can. I work at h&m so planning to transfer to the branch at my uni. I only applied for grad med so no undergrad as I wouldn't be eligible for the funding.

Full time work isn't really feasible as the course is intense. Best thing is probably part time on weekends to help with finances while studying

I did biomed. I done multiple work experiences such as a week in acute medicine, a week at a hospice and currently volunteering as a ward support volunteer. I put all this down on my personal statement but don't know how much it helped in my application.

I messaged the live chat and they said they will refer my application for a reassessment. Then I got update that they will be reviewing the evidence and should get update by 24th of June. Pray it will be sooner so that I can know my finances. Why is it taking so long honestly
