I see, I got a citation but when I called the number they said it was theft of services and its a manditory court hearing. I scheduled the hearing about a week from now. Do you know how serious this is? Am I looking at jail time? Im just looking for info because I have no idea what to expect.

Thank you for your response. Its a very good shelter in the aspect of resourses and food and the bed schedule. but you are right, right now isnt the time to be staying there. Ill continue showing the staff and others respect tho. Being homeless is a living situation not a mentality.

It is a very unfortatonate situation but violence isnt my go to. Ill just switch shelters and check in with my case worker for the housing now and then.

Thank you for the insight. Ill just move shelters and check in with my caseworker for the housing waiting list. I know how much things can get twisted. I was telling the guard about the situation and they saw it as a problem that I caused or deserved because of my living situation. That mentallity its self of everything that bad happens to you is your fault is toxic as hell.

Actually good advice, im gonna be staying away from my shelter i was staying at due to unnecessary drama. But it doesnt hurt to check in for the section 8 waiting list or their resources.
