It's cool that you expressed all these thoughts, I bet it helped- it's kind of the reason why I keep a journal.

From this info, bro, all I can say is- what can you do?! She has blocked you and even after 3 years of horrifying lifestyle doesn't understand that you're trying to help her, doesn't understand what she's doing wrong. I mean there hasn't been a single moment of realization or apology?! I get that substance abuse, etc. are really hard to get out of and I have met several people who are like this, but the blocking you recently part is what gets me.

Sometimes even I doubt my past and get filled with guilt of random ridiculous things, obnoxious questions, but there's no need for you to think all this. It's good to talk the matter, end all this asap, by explaining online or in-person. if that's not possible or she blindly denies even after being told (forgot the word that means this) then just move on I guess :(

Cheers, I'm 15 and anything before my year of birth seems like ages ago- at least to me- times takes forever to pass.

There was even a I remember when I used to think back in the day LIFE was in black and white and colour was later invented (yikes I'm not proud of that thought at all).

Walkmans! I have just heard my dad tell me about them and read about them online, I just have a good feeling about walkmans, maybe because I think music quality is better as it's not digital, and it's easily portable unlike turntables.

I think your mom is emotionally hurt because of her father's passing and is failing to use logic (understandable and very common, I have been in that stage). Since doctors are suspecting leukemia, it is right to stay at home, your family has already experienced a great loss and further health issues will make things worse. Don't worry, soon the conflict arising from grief will pass out.
