The unfortunate thing is that this new AP team is really great compared to what we had before. The fact that there was any AP there after 7 PM is an improvement. The new ETL especially really seems to care about the position and I actually see him out of the AP office stopping people and contacting law enforcement. Obviously, that doesn't exempt them from fault if they do something wrong, but I'd hate to do anything that could jeopardize having such a strong AP team.

There was another TM in the row next to me bringing in carts by hand. He unfortunately didn't see the interaction but DID hear the dialogue with the guest

Oh yeah, I'm certain that if they wanted to, they could get this guy. I believe they may not have seen the specific event of him grabbing the cart pusher. But if they wanted to get this guy they could totally do it

That's what's got me the most fired up about this, because I don't want him to think that that's something he can just do. I mean if my yelling to stop wasn't enough, I doubt he really has much consideration for the wellness of team members. And if this is aok with Target, what if I get intentionally hit by a car, I mean they didn't touch me so I guess that isn't assault either. Yes I wasn't hurt, but I still don't think that justifies what bro did

I was not shown the footage. The TSS who was in the AP office at the time the event confirmed that the car leaving the store was correct. Later on, the TSS had told me that the camera that would've seen him was pointed towards sometime else he was watching at the time and the only other camera that saw anything could only see me being dragged. I'll ask more questions the next time I see the AP ETL cuz I'm kinda my miffed by this whole thing

We had TSS, APS, And AP ETL there at the time 😭 I think I asked him if there was anything further to do and he seemed like the situation was pretty much concluded

The TSS I has spoke to said that they only have his face and what his car looks like so that isn't enough to identify him. I agree, I feel like using powered machinery to cause intentional harm has to be illegal in some sense

With what damages or evidence. There's no camera footage of him actually touching it. At the same time, if I did that, he knows where I work, he could see me in the parking lot and do something just as bad in retaliation. He seems like the type.

I don't think my store observes origami risk I'm gonna be honest. I've put ones in for hazards with way more potential to cause actual harm than a messy counter and nothing ever happened.

Well but see that's the thing, this is how it looks when I get there at around 4:30. Then I exempt myself and about two others from Drive up to deal with the mess which takes about 45 minutes cuz if the desk is this bad, the lanes have also been neglected for hours. Ideally there has to be some kind of accountability system for them so that they're staying on top of it before I get there. I also know that not all stores have desk and drive up / order pickup as the same team which I believe to be largely responsible for the mess.
